Hey All, I’m back from a fun morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the upper lot at 830 and it was in the upper 40s under mostly cloudy sky’s. In the house were mute, Ryan, atomic jeff, Johnny Law, Slim, Gary and Bethlehem ford guy. The snow was hero snow, my favorite kind of spring snow..soft and fast..pretty smooth for the first hour and got a little choppier the last run or two. Midway is thinner than I’ve seen..pretty brown and pebbles. They should make it until the cold arrives Sunday night but it’s gonna be rough. I then had a beer in the lot and enjoyed the warm breeze for about an hour. I might be out tomorrow AM or in the rain Saturday but likely not until Sunday AM...JADIP

What I like about camelback is I feel like Jean Claude Killy compared to the herbs there. I’ve been stopped for fast skiing multiple times there and even had to watch a safety video there.

The one year when blue forgot to get their lifts inspected, camelback opened a day before Blue.

JFskiDan, have you seen Saturday’s forecast yet?

The snow guns on upper vista are just so spread out. They should add some portable guns. I could definitely see blue trucking some of the snow from the valley up to the summit.

Inversions seem to be the norm at Blue about half the time. Sometimes it’s an icebox in valley and like Miami Beach at the top of the six pack. You should see the inversions in Jackson hole..can be a 40 degree difference between the summit and the valley.

NYC has had an indoor vaccine mandate since early fall and from what I’ve heard it’s been jam packed with tourists and only about one in four restaurants actually check vaccine passports.

At broadway shows it’s the same thing. Proof of vax and masks required. My friend will go to bars in NYC but not in Allentown because she knows that everybody in NYC bars is vaxxed.
