  1. The mornings have been improving. Conditions softened up nicely early today, but no sugar piles.
  2. I was there today, skied from about 930-230, I thought the snow was better than yesterday, not so many cookies. Challenge, TCS, Lazy and Chute all very nice. Did Razors once, 1st head wall very slick, but other than that pretty good. I wasn’t going to risk it yesterday, it looked like a glacier. I’m really liking my new skis, probably the best skis I’ve ever owned.

    Sale rumors...

I like T mobile for our phones. Tried their internet, it was a disaster.
  4. If I worked Monday through Friday,I’d definitely ski nights. Otherwise, you wouldn’t go until the weekend. And sometimes when you have kids, that’s your only option.
  5. Killington is always better than Mt Snow
  6. I’m really hoping they can make some snow at night this week. TCS needs a refresh, and I’d love if they got Switchback open
  7. No weekend for me.. hubby is at the end of his rope. I skied Monday through Thursday. Long sessions followed by long tailgates. I just like having fun. Probably hiking tomorrow and have family function Sunday.
  8. Have fun in Killington, may the Snow Gods bless you. Today was day 4 in a row for me at Blue. I thought conditions weren’t as bad as yesterday. Challenge was actually pretty nice- soft bumps. So irritating to have Razors and NMDW closed.. and NO ONE ON IT ALL DAY. We were drooling over the corduroy on NMDW as we went over it on the quad. Didn’t get crazy amount of runs in this week, due to conditions, but JAWIP. just another week in paradise.
  9. When I was there, no one tailgated. I don’t think it would go over well.

We camp out that way sometimes. Drove past there, stopped and checked it out, doesn’t look like much. It may be better off as a mountain biking/ hiking area. I can’t see it making it as a ski area.
  11. Lots of nice pictures, looks like a great trip.
  12. Conditions definitely challenging today. Lazy to Lower Sidewinder ROTD. Top of Main was nice, but then you had to navigate the mine field on Lower Main. NMDW was decent, along with TCS. I used my new boots for the first time today, and I was on the struggle bus for a while. Not the best day to test out new gear. But I’m really enjoying this lack of crowds. School buses rolled in prior to our leaving-always interesting watching a bunch of middle school kids.
  13. Blue was uncharacteristically empty, too,Saturday and yesterday. I’m ok with that.
  14. We were lucky when we went last year, only one day was so foggy that you couldn’t ski the top.
  15. Guns are on! Looks like Vista only right now.
  16. Indeed JADIP. Razors a little spicy with the ruts, didn’t even try Challenge- probably my least favorite trail there. Nice tailgate session after. Hopefully the crowds stay away all week.
  17. Ugh, I’d hate to have foot problems. I feel like when your feet hurt, your whole body hurts. Good luck guys.
  18. In flat light it’s ok but when you can’t see your hand in front of your face…it’s tricky. So it’s like skiing Whitefish!
  19. You only have one fat foot? Is that from all the problems you’ve been having with it, and won’t it ever go back to normal?
  20. Bibs seem to be really popular. They make sense, no snow down your backside. The whole bathroom thing seems hard to deal with if you’re a girl.
  21. You should be an expert at that- you ski Pa.
  22. This makes me want to go to NH.

True. Plattekill and the Bell are a haul for most of us, but not folks living near Elk
  24. Those are all great pictures. The snow looks divine
