Home for 4 days, then off to Atlanta for 10 days to watch my 11 month old granddaughter while my son and his wife go to Italy.

I think I’ll pass on Friday at Blue. Going to be out of town pretty much 4/1- 4/21.

How horrific is this bridge collapse. Can’t even imagine dying like that. Have they gotten anyone out alive?

Thanks for the heads up about D&L closure. Starting soon? I wonder if D&L open yet near Seven Tubs. And that I80 bridge definitely needs to be redone. We had to seek refuge from torrential rain under there a couple years ago, sketchy as hell, concrete falling apart and exposed rebar everywhere.

Looks like great conditions overall this year.

IDK, one second I was attempting the bumps, next thing I knew, I was on my back, head facing down the hill, and my skis were in a pine tree. 🤷🏻‍♀️

What a fun day! Conditions were much better than expected. Parking lot was a blast, eagle show spectacular. Plenty of food, drinks, and all out silliness in the lot. Thanks @indiggio for helping me get my skis back on after I landed in the woods. I maybe back Friday,Saturday is definitely out, leaving for Maine on Sunday.

Ugh. Decisions decisions. I was going to take my rock skis, but my new ones have better edges.

What a fun day. A big thank you to all the snow makers, groomers, lifties and ski patrol and all the staff at Blue that made it happen. I knew it would be a great day when the bald eagle made a low flight against the blue sky above us while we were booting up. Magnificent sight.

This is why quad stopped. They had to fix the ramp because people were eating it getting off the lift. We had a front row seat. Quite entertaining IMG_8784.mov

Friday and Sunday

Ride Boulder from about 930-330 today. I was pleasantly surprised how much fun we had, I thought we would be bored and end up leaving after 2 hours. Snow was nice, easy to carve corduroy, good coverage, and they had 5 trails open on skiers right. Also some beginner stuff and park skiers left, which we didn’t check out. New lift is nice. Place was pretty much empty

I hope they didn’t stockpile snow. They let Switch disappear, and it was only open for about 2 weeks. Should’ve used it there.

A couple of us going there tomorrow. So rock skis not required? I haven’t been there in years, is the new lift any faster?
