  1. This is the last I heard. Its nothing new. http://www.poconorecord.com/apps/pbcs.dll/...-1/LIVING100402 Published August 15, 2006.
  2. Got my pass today (I guess that would be yesterday now). First one on the College pass list.
  3. I just heard on the news that Sno Mountain is suing Washo for delaying the sale and defaming the company. more...
  4. I got excited when I saw C-rail, but then I saw that it was actually a box. The s-rail (probably a box) should be fun.
  5. Ha Ha, I just sent them another email because they didn't respond to my first one. Should have checked first. Thanks for the info.
  6. Fifteen responses to spam. It must be summer.
  7. Hmm... It was at least year or two ago, so I can't remember exactly. It wasn't overly challenging, but I think I remember a few rocky slopes. I want to say you could jog most of it, but I can't tell you for sure.
  8. I've hiked in Big Pocono State Park. I haven't done that trial though, so I can't give you specifics. I hiked the Indian Trail, which was nice, but that looks more mellow.
  9. This is the only refrence made to meeting girls on the internet. Look at who it was posted by.
  10. Also, college kids generally don't have a lot of money so by offering a discounted rate you attract people who wouldn't spent that much other wise. For example I thought that I would not get a season pass this year, but because the pass is such a good deal I am thinking about getting it for the about a month I will be home during the winter. A season pass would not be worth it other wise, and I would be spending my money elsewhere. Like Glenn said, if they treat there customers in college well now, they will be much more likely to come back and spend more money as adults.
  11. College Season Pass from ridecamelback.com That was posted on the 3rd.
  12. Didn't CB used to have a season pass price for college students? I'm not seeing it on there website, so that really sucks if they got rid of it. On a better note they dropped the junor limited pass price back under 300. (too bad I just turned 19 ) [edit]2006/2007 Season Pass Rates
  13. Some more info on waterproofing- To wash or not to wash, Ski pants that is.
  14. Fixed that. Eventualy I want to add price comparisons as well as a table of materials for coping but haven't had the time.
  15. I fixed some of the concerns that were addressed and finished the top sheet table. I also formatted it to be more appealing and hopefully easier to read. I am still going to fix some more of the things everyone mentioned, including adding some diagrams. Again all suggestions are welcome.
  16. I'm surprise that they would do something that likely to push away season pass holders when there are at least two other major resorts within about half hour. [edit] I guess that comes from corporate decisions that don't have much input from the actual mountain.
  17. If any one has any links to sites with designs, please post them (other than rampplans.org). I'm having trouble finding anything. Thanks.
  18. I liked the chaotic flow. It's different than the slightly repetitious feel some local videos seem to have.
  19. I don't know, I think they would leave Upper/Lower Moore's Ramble as a non-park route down from Near East and the Glen Lift.
  20. The trails are next to each other so its impossible to do them both in the same run. It kind of sucks about oak grove. I liked that section of the mountain. Oh well that's progression for you. Its a good thing though.
  21. That's too bad. I read a book about Camelback's early years, and they really put a lot of effort into making it work.
  22. Yeah, They were supposed to widen Rhododendron Glen. I believe that they close the bottom lots during the summer, but I haven't been there this year to be sure.
  23. I did a few things last year where I was surprised that there were no gashes in my board. My old board has scratches from just about every stone I've ever run over. Although I still wouldn't recommend looking for trouble.
  24. I looked around a little and couldn't find anything. I did find that adding a solute (i.e. salt) always lowers the freezing point. I think the fact that it makes it firm is caused because by the lowering of the freezing point the snow requires more energy to remain frozen, so it takes energy from the surrounding snow that doesn't have salt in it, causing it to freeze. (Kind of like maing ice cream.) Now I just have to figure out why I care.
