I would love to go to blue but I have things to do in the after noon. The roads are fine this morning any the temp is above freezing. The conditions would'nt be great. But as many people have said, "A bad day on the slopes beats a good day doing any thing else."

From RideCB.com Anyone think this argument has any truth, I think they should groom it and make a nice base then blow more ontop. Anyone from another mountain want to comment since you know more than me?
-
Why are they closed!? Who cares if was freezing rain last night? It's 40 degrees now. Groom the trails and open. Shawnee's open, Blue is open, Jack Frost is open. Why can't you? I'm sure closing is cutting into you coustomer loyaly much more than opening would cut into your profits.

Under 10 to CB.

It looked like they had enough snow on little ceaser today to open it. Depending on how much snow is on nile mile, I think the could easly have it open for next weekend. The real question is "will they?" Hopefuly they will.

They should groom everything tonight. I just got back and it was starting to get realy choppy (and not the fun choppieness). Marjies was bumped up when I got there, but they were starting to get bad and toss you around, so I think they will groom it.

They up it to 14 trails for tomorow. They will also have Upper Cleo and Julius Caesar open tomorow. That's about 5 runs from the top. Is that better than last year?

Are they Bolted together or any thing. Thats a cool idea though.

I'm going from 8:00 untill 11:00.

CB Has made the official announcement. 8:00AM-5:00PM Trails opening from the top: Birches, King Tut, and Mark Anthony, as well as the Terrain Park and Half pipe. Sullivan's trail and The Sphinx are supposed to open, but I dont see how you could get to them with out Marjie's open so hopefuly that will open too. (They only have 9 trails out of 'up to 12' listed) Camelback Ski Area

I'll be there from opening until around 11:00. Then I have to go to school to take a test.

I think they wanted to put chips into cars so that the cops could sed a radio signal to you car and it would shut off. I don't know if it has been implemented though. -

You choose which mountains you want and have the report sent to your e-mail or a mobil phone. It would be cool if you get the reports as an rss feed.

If you are intrested if you go to you control pannel and click 'Purchase Paid Subscriptions' under Options you can get space to host video on the site. Also I think there are some free hosting sites, some other members may be able to give you more info on that. Just make sure you're not giving up you copyright or any thing.

As of now airless snow making is impossiple (or very close to it) for home snowmaking. (with the exception of really cold temps.) Resorts have some airless guns, but they're not very efficent and also need very cold temps. Skifreak, are the HKD gus basicly combo guns with more nozzles? Also you should copy that post to the snowmakink FAQ, It's very informative.

That's sweet. It looks like it is good and solid and its a good design.

PASR has enough dedicated members that won't let that happen. -
still blowing at 1:00. You could see plumes of snow all along Mark Anthony
-
They just turned on a gun on the base!
-
sorry, diden't see that. Anyway it's still snowing, no snowmaking yet though.

That's true but I think alot of there guns now are high efficency guns that require colder temps.

Ugh. The weather for the next few days at Camelback is hovering at just above frezzing.
