Dan-
Wow.. Even with this storm being this close, no one has any clue to what it's doing. Some are saying 6-10 for blue, others are saying 1-2 or little to no accumulation...
toast21602
yeah i know. crazy. weather.com/noaa/accuweather is saying 6 for my house... and blue is 6 miles away soooooo thats what i'm assuming will occur there, if not more. Dan-
i looked at weather.com/noaa/intellicast for palmerton. Noaa said 6-10. The other 2 sites said barely anything.

Melissa
In case anyone cares, it started snowing in Scranton around 7:45 a.m. By 7:55 everything was already covered. ABS kicked in twice driving to work--the snow is very slippery. It's been coming down really hard all morning. I'm basically waiting til my boss says I can go home. Now time to make some hot chocolate with marshmellows!
Blong131
wtf its jus raining here in emmaus
volklyokel
This morning, the models are putting the significant snow further north, like the map Papasteeze posted yesterday. The GFS model puts the most snow over Connecticut at a foot plus. The NCEP models show more in NE PA. Elk could hit it big. But the precip forecasts for resorts in central, southern and eastern PA might not get this one. Check out the maps by clicking on this. Schif
Just that "wintry mix" stuff here. Its mostly freezing rain I guess but I haven't been outside yet. It kind of looks like a zamboni has just driven over every road and sidewalk, but it snowed in all the grass.
phillycore
Boss won't let me leave... the computers went down and we got off to a slow start and now I got to pay the price... Maybe I can still get out a little early, but if it's past 2:30 then F it cause I'll be stuck in traffic the whole way there.. so bummed man

Sno Mountain Skier
It's all Snow so far in Scranton. We have several inches already (maybe 4), the roads are terrible, and the skiing was simply great today.

snorovr
Thats funny cuz I just called Ski School and its been switching from rain to snow and back. Guys I talked to said it was real good this morning with about 2 inches of nice snow but now its getting wet and sloppy. I don't think I'm gonna go. snowboarddude
bear might have 1/4 inch of sleet and the rest was ice and rain
Dan-
i saw that too. it could change though. lets keep our fingers crossed. With the weathermen being so uncertain, and with every weather site saying something different. I wouldn't get your hopes up about this storm. Initially they were saying big things, but i think that low pressure system is moving further inland than they expected, and is pushing the storm further north + bringing us warmer temps. We'll see how it pans out, should know alot more about this one tomorrow.
