I was up this morning. Awesome conditions.

 

 

 

 

I didn't make it over to widow maker, though. There was about 40" of pow on it and I just couldn't make it on to the trail.

I didn't make it over to widow maker, though. There was about 40" of pow on it and I just couldn't make it on to the trail.

WM was clearly helped out by excess over blown snow from sleepy hollow... 5" tues night was on skiers right of the trail. Crazy it's up to 40" now!!!! Wahahoooey!!!

lol I know! Clearly makes Blue Mountain #1 in PA.

Conditions are nice. Pretty fast. Blowing snow on Switchback, it's closed😡. Wind not that bad.

Lets not get crazy... Elk is number 1 in PA. You don't even need to drive to VT.

Is elk better than Blue knob?? I haven't skied elk since 1995...I don't remember their runs being as interesting as switchback or razors or nightmare to dreamweaver.

I actually like Elk. I wouldn't say it's the best mountaln in Pa, but I have fun there.
