Earlier this spring, there was a deer that gave birth to a fawn in my yard right near my house. It's crazy how they leave the fawns all alone all day. I had to mow my lawn around the fawn laying in the grass once. It's been cool watching the fawns grow up this summer.

It sounds like Montage was holding up negotiations on their contract for the 25/26 season. No idea what Montage was asking for that caused them to leave.

Nice! Was just there the other day actually checking out what was going on. I’m surprised the snowmaking got approved. The big news here is probably the glades, although it’s there there none of it was marked. Assuming that’ll create traffic but at least they’ll up their trail count. Lol I know they are struggling to get approval on some other larger plans like lodge renovations, adding night skiing and expansion. Everything (as I understand it) has to go through the forest service

i wonder if there is something more going on there. like is there a sale in the works, and the indy thing could complicate things? i know that sounds weird but, why drop off all of a sudden? i feel like every resort i went to on the Indy Pass was very "into" being on the Indy Pass.

I’m good on poles and gloves everything else I could use a refresh. Every season I tell myself just buy like one thing a month or every other even so it’s not November and you want five things but don’t wanna spend the money or lazy. I’m thinking about selling some stuff I don’t use anymore in Buckmans sale in October for store credit should get me new goggles at least. July 18th and worrying about having enough ski socks even though Johnny law went 27 days straight using the same pear..those were some stiff socks.

Did anyone go to Spartan race? I went to spectate my sister and her boyfriend, and rode the 4 pack down hill. That was a unique experience.
