  1. go check out nestors once they get the ski stuff out again. as long as there are a good amount of boots in stock, they will find something and make it fit for you. also, make sure you check out a new pair of lange's. as of right now, they probably have the best liner out of anyone, its super customizable, comfortable, and it doesnt pack out nearly as much as anyone else's does, so they will last you well beyond 100 days. i've been on mine 60+ and they are just as snug as when i first wore them in the shop.
  2. they do know how to set stuff up though, they just never put the effort in. but when they do, stuff actually works well
  3. i told you, all you need to do is right click, save target as, and then open in windows picture viewer or whatnot. if i shrink it and then save it as a .gif it loses a ton of quality. thats why i did it the way i did.
  4. there was all sorts of other stuff thrown on that thing too. nice big 5's, one of my friends got a huge switch 180 over it too. anyway, i posted a sketch i did of a park layout, so you got something to work with kmar, now make it happen. its probably gonna be easier to save the image and open it seperately than view it in here
  5. why are you gettin rid of yours corbin? your setup was real nice last year.
  6. the best way on alpine skis is what you already do, look over your outside shoulder through a turn. i couldnt really tell you if thats the best way on teles or not, but i would assume so.
  7. it was $15M a few years back, i wouldnt doubt that he wants well over $20M for it now.
  8. how'd you get that? did i post that on here?
  9. as far as i know, it hasnt been sold yet, but ray definately wants to get rid of it ASAP. he's just getting too old and forgetting too much, and i think he has finally realized that he's not the best person to be running a ski area anymore. lets hope someone buys it who is a little more forward thinking, because if thats the case, i think some cool stuff can happen at blue.
  10. atomic, its compressed that much because newschoolers, where i hosted the video, has a 5mb limit. if i can get server space somewhere, i can post a higher quality video. and yeah the last two shots were both cork 9's at bear's big air. his last run he went for a cork 10 but over rotated it and washed out. the plan is to send it to a few companies, show some reps, etc, see what he can get out of it. thanks for the positive feedback! i have a lot more footage to edit of other people too, but its not at the same level my brother is.
  11. yeah, it took me way too long to finish this, but premiere was giving me problems. this is a promo video i put together for my brother. it was all filmed this season, at blue, bear, boulder, and steamboat CO. let me know what ya think. http://www.newschoolers.com/PHP/Videos/Loa...p4?vid_id=19510
  12. seriously, dont go less than 10,000. once your caught in the snow, you'll know why. and i can also say, the shop larry and i work at, we definately care about the sport more than most people in the industry do, and i think thats what helped get us hired in the first place, because we are all so dedicated to our sports.
  13. if you know what you want, call qtown (215-529-0100) and ask if they will send it up to the whitehall store for you, thats about 20-30 minutes closer to you, on rt. 145 about 5 miles from the allentown turnpike exit.
  14. if you arent a light guy (or girl) stay away from a foam core ski unless you know what your getting into. personally, i would get another pair of 1080s, because i am used to how much flex they have after the core gets killed, and i like it on that ski. mine got soft aftter about a month of skiing on them, about 20 days or so. they are awesome for butters as craige said, but they still ski decent all mtn as long as you have edges. its more of a longitudinal flex thing than a torsional flex that happens when you kill your core. if you are light, the ski wont die as quick, which is why 1080s work out really well for girls generally.
  15. those bindings are great park bindings, as long as they are set right for your boot. it sounds just like the toe wings and forward pressure are off if the skis are popping off when you slide rails. there's probably nothing really wrong with the bindings themselves.
  16. apparently its off, the park crew couldnt get approval from the higher ups. i guess no skiing til someone decides to hit up the ice rinks.
  17. they arent going to post anything on their website, it seems like the roundtop kids are trying to keep this as low key as possible, i dont know anything for sure yet as far as whether it is on or not.
  18. i think they still have snow left on the mountain actually.
  19. nobody else is interested in this at all?
  20. Roundtop is having a railjam this coming saturday, May 7th, as of now the time is 10am. word is they will have more than one rail too, probably their staircase set and a box or two as well. yeah its a far drive, but its worth it after what bear did to us.
  21. yeah i dunno how long the snow is gonna hang around after they dump it outside of the rink during the summer, so everything's gotta be organized. we've set up rails at northampton high school, we took rails from the skatepark down the street and used those, it worked out ok, but there were only like 6 or 7 of us hitting stuff, not a huge crowd.
  22. i posted this already but, Lange comp 120 Freeride is what i ride. i dunno what size he is in, but if you can get him in a pair of crl 80 freerides they should work out well, if you are looking to pay somewhere in the $300 range. its a much better boot than the 1080, much more customizeable liner and whatnot, plus its a lange boot, so you know its going to perform out of the park too. take the bolt out of the back and he's in great shape. nice snug fit on the tongue, i had no serious shinbang all year with my boots.
  23. the L train! i'm down larry. how come your back at qtown now?
  24. its 3:15 and still no word as to whether its back on or not yet... keep your hopes up
  25. first of all, have your dad take you to a shop and get fitted properly. personally, i ride lange comp 120 fr's, but thats way to stiff of a boot for you. most people like a softer flexing boot, but it really depends on how much you weigh as far as what boot is going to be soft enough for you.
