  1. atomic, when was stack riding armadas? are those our demos from work from when he broke his chronics i guess? oh well yeah, the jam is gonna be packed, tons of kids are going. i hope its a little more organized than roundtops was though. over 100 kids trying to hit one rail, that was just out of hand.
  2. in case anyone didnt know, bear is having a rail jam friday night, info is on their website

  4. the riding is sick, some of those kids have some real good style. i was hoping for some skiing in there somewhere though. on a side not, adjust your white balance. your stuff will turn out a ton better if you take 5 seconds and adjust the white balance before you fim.
  5. no, they just dont answer emails unless you send them well written ones with legitimate facts, then they find your emails offensive and threaten to take your pass.
  6. so what happened to this clothing company?
  7. if the damage to the topsheet is down to the core, then yeah, thats a different story entirely. from what you said i thought it was just normal topsheet chipping and such, which isnt really a problem. thats good that the edges are still holding well. as for 4FRNT dealers, nestors is supposed to be carrying them next season. mostly just STLs, but possibly a few pairs of MSPs as well. the STL would probably work out better for steven anyway though.
  8. yeah i have something in the works, but i have finals next week and like 5 papers to do by then. i think something in the 50 foot range is very doable. it was not hard to overshoot any jump on sidewinder this year, so speed isnt really a problem. update: so i am a slacker. i am done with school tuesday, so after that i will actually have some free time to come up with a layout. and how much are they cutting the corners on sidewinder anyway? if they cut the corners, it will also make the trail steeper which will be nice. more speed for bigger hits
  9. i think they are $75, thats what they were when i asked about them a couple seasons ago. but good luck getting one, apparently the waiting list is a very long, as you can keep your locker for the upcoming season if you already have one. so basically you have to wait for someone to give theirs up.
  10. as much as i support armada for all they do for our industry, i think their skis are crap. i skiied the 170 and 176 ar5's and they felt like i was skiing on 2x4s. they are notorious for topsheet chipping, but this will happen with any sidewall ski. it has happened on my 4frnts, but it doesnt affect performance at all. also, the ar3 is produced to the same specs as an adult ski, just in a more junior friendly version i.e. shorter and easier to flex for smaller kids. it's no less of a ski than any other ski on the wall. was their any edge damage to his skis? if it was only topsheet chipping, he really has nothing to worry about. i have a pair of 1080s currently that have about 4 feet total edge gone. yeah, they are foam core, super flexy, and cant hold an edge for crap, but they kill it in the park just because they take a beating and just dont die. so sorry, but whoever said salomon is going back to wood core, nope, not for next year at least, the thruster is the same as the current 1080, and the foil is a new core, a type of honeycomb sort of thing, but definately not full wood core.
  11. i'm in, my brother will probably be there, as well as a few friends from school. i should have someone there filming too, so i will put a little edit together when its all over and i'm done with school in a few weeks and have some free time. anyone know what rail they are putting out? i pray its not the s rail, or its all going to come down to who can clean the thing and spin out of it. it would be tons of fun with some kind of box setup, something you can get creative on.
  12. andrew if you are planning on winning this thing, i hope you got some stuff up your sleeve. if they put the rainbow box in, its gonna be nuts. there's kids who have hit that thing switch on, blind switchup at the top, 270 out. i dont think many people can touch that, i know i cant. i'm hoping for c boxes both ways, that could get interesting.
  13. i'll a real ghetto layout tomorrow
  14. she's also got a pair of 160cm rossi saphirsi believe that she might be looking to get rid of. she said she skiied them only two times then got the volkls so they are in almost brand new condition.
  15. she's lookin for something in the 200s or so. i have had a few offers so far.
  16. nobody wants these? or knows of anyone who might want them?
  17. its not gonna do any harm if you say the guy's name. its public domain as to who owns the place, i just dont know where to dig to find it, and i had never heard from anyone else that ray did not have full ownership. and to whoever asked about opening date, i dont think they can project the weather that far in advance.... usually the first or second week in december is what they shoot for though.
  18. my girlfriend has a pair of 2004 volkl v pro's that she needs to sell. she is getting rid of them because they are too stiff of a ski for her, she doesnt weigh enough to flex them properly. they are used, with some minor scratches on the topsheet, but no damage that will affect performance. i tried them out myself, and they are a great all mountain ski for someone who likes to hit up the park every once in a while. 83mm waist means it will work well in a little bit of fresh snow too. overall, a really good all around ski. message me with any other questions.
  19. i have to give respect, the site looks way more legit than anything kids post on newschoolers about starting their clothing companies. i'm down in the AC, margate, OC area pretty often over the summer actually, i wanna learn to surf a little better.
  20. those are the only two i have found, but the luke van valin clip is oh so worth it. the intro song is zion i - trippin', i believe. the credits song i dont remember off the top of my head, i think its called save it for later, dont know who its by though
  21. well then who owns the rest?if it's krells, i'm gonna cry

    450s

i've landed one technically, my brother can do them consistently though. whats your problem? do you keep spinning when you land? if so, look in the opposite direction of your spin, that should stop the rotation. if its a matter of not landing centered, just keep at it and you'll eventually figure out where in your rotation you need to compensate.
  23. lineski knows whats up. 1242 is an amazing movie, both skiing wise and production wise. still my favorite ski movie, even though its a little older now. high 5 was my favorite this year, even though its mostly previously unknown skiers. its mostly jibs with some park and a few bc booters, but really well edited and good soundtrack for the most part (a lot of Zion I) and probably the best secret footage of any ski movie. i'm not really a fan of matchstick as of lately, their stuff is getting really repetitive, and i dont care to see people skiing backcountry lines, because i dont have the opportunity to do that here on the east coast. give me park and rails. as far as snowboarding movies, i really liked pop. the riding was sick, but you might not like the music so much. and good luck finding racing movies, i dont know that any are really made, that would get super boring watching people take the same line through a course every time, but thats just my opinion, i'm sure its fun to actually do.

    4frnt skis?

most places had them for around 399. msrp i believe was mid 500s, but you'd be getting ripped off to pay that much for them, even though 4FRNT makes a quality product. the MSPs msrp is something like 699? i paid 390 for mine, brand new. you're not gonna find a pair for much cheaper than 300 though, they dont make nearly as many skis as most other companies do.
  25. PBP's War teaser has footage of it from earlier this season. and pollard tried to zero it last year, its in some other teaser this year i dont remember what though
