Now now, thats not nice. Clearly I have been out before since I am knocking the rust off
-
I heard steeze and saw zaldon on the park lift with him...Too bad I forgot it was a PASR day

http://skicamelback.com/images/daily_pics/.../daily_hi_5.jpg CB I'm going to have to call you on this one...I didn't have any rust on

I was at CB and saw Zaldon ripping up the trails....Or flying down them. Either way didn't see anyone I haven't met yet...Kinda a bummer.

The snow was hard in the morning, like it always is after it is cold at night.... Now I like the hardpack, and thats, along with the sugar on top was what the mountain was covered in. The sugary snow happens when the snow either gets wet (from rain) or melts then refreezes, and then it gets broken up by groomers. I don't like it much, because it is harder to really get your skis away from your body, since the snow doesn't push back as much. Anyway... like I said before, its mid Dec...Be happy with what you have, or wait til mid feb...

I skipped over most of the posts here...But it seems like you guys are bitching because the trails are icy after a rainstorm...But if they spent more time resurfacing the trails that were already open, then you guys would bitch that the mountain wasn't blowing on Cliffy, or pharow, or any new trails... Its Dec 18th...They will have the whole mountain open by x-mas....act like your happy.

And TJ N.(hes on this board) and Andrew H. JB was the only person with a clean 2 runs...Everyone else crashed on a flush there first run. TJ had a yard sale!!
-
Its been groomed EVERY night since they opened...And will be groomed everynight until they have all there trails open. At that point they might think about leaving one ungroomed (My guess woudl be asp)

Sig is fine with me...Especailly since its VOLKL!!! A dedicated race trail would be sick...Don't see it happening, but we can hope

Not really, if he comes back and again must be flaming our members, and our mountains, then it will get him banned again for probably a week. Then after that I would imagine he would be gone for life. And unlike the ridecb board, this has much better ways of keeping people who don't belong out

The guy who is holding a night stick is the one who is completely against CB having a bump run.
-
Doesn't make my computer messed up...Make your screen bigger (more pixles)... Anyway, a lot of places say you can pay like 75-100 bucks and run all the nastar you want all season
-
I think he just got a one day banning...

And a park requires a park crew (that has to be like 5ish people, all day long), extra snowmaking (jumps)...rails (would be equivilant to gates in costs probably)...a specail groomer (pipe). Also your probably more likely to really mess yourself up in a park than in a race course...

I actully know a few of the rangers pretty well, and now they know me... I think they understand where I am coming from, and know that I'm in control and everything and don't yell at me However if one of the few powertrippin ones (there aren't many, but there are a few) tried to stop me...Well then we might have to test how well their radios worked

Haha yeah. I don't think it can be that wide...But maybe. It would be cheaper to take care of than a park. Which brings one to ask, why does Nastar cost money and going in the park doesn't? Could you imagin having to pay 10 bucks EVERYday to ski the park as much as you wanted? They could do a lot with one trail dedicated to racing...Not to mention if it was right on the front of the mountain, it would be good publicity

Epoxy usually works well for chips. If the chip is starting to delaminate your edge, then you want to bring it to a shop and see what they can do. They probably have more tools and experiance than you when it comes to fixing busted edges.

So I am looking at the trail map, and I figure CB could put in a race area inbetween Big poc and Marjies, and run it almost down to the bottom. They own that land, so they should be able to clear it. I am only bringing this up, because I heard that the mountain has thought about doing that for the race team. Just think a nice steep trail that we could leave fencing up on Probably will never happen (atleast in my lifetime) but I heard that the mountain had thought about that, and I like that idea
