    Skiing was the most fun when I was getting better and advancing, like skiing blacks for the first time. Now that I've plateaued it's still fun to get out but not really as challenging. I'll try moguls and glades again this year because those were the funnest sessions I had last year. I suck big league in moguls, maybe I can challenge Indigio to a mogul competition.

    That's why I got a season pass to Blue, because if the snow sucks at least I can come down and annoy you guys for a while. If I lived closer I'd probably ski more often, like maybe twice a week. Thanks!!! I still like skiing, but when I started I could easily ski 12-13 hours in a row and not be tired of it. Now I'm good after 2-3 hours. I tend to do that with hobbies when first getting into them. Also I get tired of eating and usually eat really fast just to get it over with.

    Just not as into it as I was last season. I'm good going out once a week. How do you guys ski every day and not get tired of it???

    Thinking of Sunday morning. If the snow quality is as bad as last weekend I may pass. Cant stand that sugary snow garbage.

    I dont mind standing in lift lines, but I cant stand skiing around a ton of people on every trail. It's much less fun. Between 8 and 10 pm is ridiculously fun because it feels like I'm the only skier on the mountain.

    Back when I was a gaper, I thought ski patrol was going to kill me on Falls. I was making my way down Falls slowly and suddenly 5 or 6 patrollers sped past me. If I was in the wrong place it would have been bad. Fortunately I'm a good skier now and can get down Falls quickly. But I remember to slow down at the top and check for gapers first.

    Thanks, despite that you dissed me last night over my astute comparison of Stowe to western skiing. I have the video of where this picture originated on my Jitterbug, if I remember I'll show you next time in the parking lot if you supply Yoohoos as compensation for your misdeeds (e.g. calling me a "pussy").

    Last year, Stowe must have felt like western groomers because there was a few inches of ungroomed nearly every day, and it was by far the best skiing I've ever had. Guess it's like that all the time out west.

    I'll have to get out west some day, hopefully Steeze will invite me... that means I'm never going, buahahah.

    Nice pics! Since I presume you mostly ski groomers when you're with your daughters, how does the snow quality compare out west to Vermont and Pa? For me the only reason to go west is change in scenary and more vert, since I dont ski perder.

    What time did they close? The fact that they close at 10 a lot of days sold me the season pass. Most places like Camelback close at 9, and the end of the night is always my favorite time to ski. That extra hour is important.

    I can probably handle it but opt to sit instead of stand where possible.

    Chute was great, very smooth and just how I like it. Even Midway was nice. But Paradise, Lazy Mile, and Tut's Lane were awful.

    Nah. I think there were more members from the race team there than anyone else.
