  1. This is the official 2018 Stowe stoke thread. My plan is to ski Stowe 2/5 - 2/7, and then Killington 2/8 - 2/9. I've never been to Stowe before so it is going to be so rad. I threw in Killington too because I went there for the first time last season and it was one of the funnest weeks of my entire life, so I'm going back to ski some trails I missed last year. Looks like ample freshies are in bound, and I will probably be getting buried in the perder. Thankfully I have my RTMs this week which are the perfect powder ski. It seems I hit the weather jackpot once again, since last year the conditions were also out of this world (just like outer limits, my favorite trail).
  2. Tonight I'm staying in the hotel. Currently eating dinner (Nature Valley Sweet & Salty Nut Bar and Keebler Pepper Jack Snack Pack). Tomorrow I'll check out Burlington, stop at Stowe for a preview, and then watch the Eagles play in the world series. Great idea, I will have to start a Stowe thread. I just wanted to see how many posts this thread gets, since it has my call sign in it. At 294 replies right now so that means I'm getting pretty popular.
  3. Yep I made it but if youd like play by play action I'll have to text you because the mods said to and I dont want a strike 2. So if you could post your phone number on this thread that would be great.

    Yeah..can you make finger sandwiches??
  5. That wasnt my intent Atomic. I meant to illustrate that the trails look similar. I meant to run detailed Google Earth analytics on the trail, but I'm typing this from the rest stop on the New York Thruway and don't have the software installed on my Android. I'm sure Paradise is a couple feet longer, but I wonder how much??? Anyway I pulled off the turnpike to defend myself so you guys don't think I'm a jerry.
  6. Thanks Steeze. Heading out in a few minutes. Got my McDonald's and Burger King coupons ready for dinner tonight in Burlington. I hope they have fast food slopeside at Verbier. If my RTMs are too wide for the powder I'll have my Elons.

Great! I nominate myself as the official 2017-2018 PASR day at Camelback Mountain. Later in February or in March, I will post one random Sunday as PASR Camelback day. I predict we will have at least 50 attendees.

Awesome. I didn't know you ski Camelback. We really need to do a PASR Camelback day since so many PASR posters ski there. So far I think we can get you, SallyCat, Ski2Live, eaf, and Enjorales. I think TP4 might be interested also because he mentioned to me that he likes Camelback.
  9. Ok good I only have 304 texts left until April and it costs 1 text to both send and receive. If our posts cause the site to run out of bandwidth then I'll start my own forum and just you and me can post on it.
  10. Nice. The worst part is during boarding and waiting to see if you have to sit next to someone. Then the next worst part is seeing if that person is going to talk to you the whole flight. That's why I started bringing headphones. If the seat next to me is empty I am just as stoked as when I ski powder.
  11. Mods on demand, nice. Have a good flight. Don't eat too many mini pretzels like GSSucks did on his flight to Europe.
  12. Not sure what I would do anyway...? I already bought RTMs so I'm good.
  13. This site needs more diversity. As eaf said, us gapers are an endangered species.
  14. I'm confused as to how my post at 4:40 pm conveys that I think I'm a gaper. I'm pretty sure I got rid of my gaper gap a few months ago.
  15. Yeah I can't keep track of time anymore. I think in early 2016 back in the day when I was a gaper.
  16. They also used to have dirt cheap prices on Liftopia. I used to pay $20 to night ski, which is unheard of.
  17. Why you mad brah? What did those southern people and Wilkes-Barrians do to deserve those descriptions?
  18. You're welcome to come heli skiing at Verbier with me and Matt Edge next year. Do you know if Verbier has a singles line or VIP line for the helicopter?
  19. I don't see Mountain Creek on your list.
  20. Ok, but they look pretty similar and I think the difference is like 200 feet or something, but I don't have Google Earth installed to verify length and vert. But personally I like both runs and am equally happy doing either.
  21. Nile Mile is essentially the same thing as Paradise and is just about as much vert. Cliffhanger is similar to Razors Edge/Challenge but has a slightly longer run out. You can park right by the Stevenson Lift and walk 25 feet and then ski to the lift.
  22. They're equidistant. Camelback is a much easier drive because I can just set cruise control on Interstate 80 the whole way. Blue I actually have to put more effort into shifting, stopping and going, and navigating mountainous roads like Route 93 over the Broad Mountain.
