  1. Pretty rad here. Made 5 runs on a different blue each time and making my way across the mountain. Started at Ramshead, did a warm up run on the Blue run, then did the green run to see where Treezy is. Then tried getting to gondola via Caper but forgot about the stupid uphill segment so took Snowdon double and did a blue to Snowdon triple then made a nice fun run down to gondola. About 300 people in line, will ask for a gift card. Its crowded and feels like a weekend with jerrys everywhere but the place is so yuge I should be able to find some lifts and trails that aren't crowded. No one seems to be riding the slow lifts, at least not yet. Taking 5 at K1 top lodge and then will make a run down my favorite cruiser Great Eastern.
  2. Got my boots on ok and waiting for first chair at Ramshead. Much easier walk Today. I think i like Killington better because I don't have to walk up any steep hills.
  3. Nah man. Today I'm in great shape. Killington doesn't open until 9 and Ramshead doesn't have a hill to walk up. I can actually take my time and enjoy breakfast for a change.
  4. I realize that it was because my boots were in the trunk yesterday. If I put them on the passenger floor with the heat on I am proficient at putting them on.
  5. I drive a manual and can't even get the car started with ski boots, so that's un-possible.
  6. Thanks. Just got done practicing putting on my ski boots. This morning in the Mansfield Lodge I could not get them on for some reason and I think the ticket saleswoman thought I was giving birth. Been taking the liners out every single night to dry them on the vent because I forgot my boot dryers at home.
  7. Might try some glades off Ramshead also. Squeeze Play and Twister are blue rated glades. If I do well in them I might give Patsy's a go.
  8. Ben and Jerrys was pretty cool. Nothing spectacular. Got a private tour since I was the only person interested at the time. Then got free ice cream samples. Cool to check out the place once for an hour tops and that's about it.
  9. Sunday walked around Burlington and had a blast. Saw Steeze on a mural of famous Burlington residents. Watched the Super bowl and got wings and stromboli from Piecasso. Monday met Moe Ghoul and made some epic runs in tracked out powder. Was way too late for first trax due to poor planning and late breakfast, and forgot poles in car. Tuesday had the best run of my life down Gondalier in fresh powder and ate mussels and brownie and posted a pic of my meal which earned me an ultra rare like from toast. Also took a lesson. Wednesday skiied freshies and many free refills and had a great time. Today Was 3rd in line for first chair when epic rfid reader fail ensued which caused me to almost rage quit skiing. Lost place in line and was pushed back to 24th place. And many more epic events. Definitely worth a read through, this thread is a classic probably hall of fame worthy. Very happy to see you're doing well Ridge.
  10. Saturday. Might call it quits after tomorrow and just make Saturday a driving day. Depends on how stoked I am after tomorrow. If I don't use my last Killington-Pico ticket I might try to sell it for $84.
  11. Might be eating fast food. Perhaps a McMuffin. I've spent so much money this week and Trump made my stock portfolio worthless. Problem is now I have no appetite for fast food after eating fancy all week. Currently eating Shrimp Royal platter at East Cuisine in Rutland. Its literally a meal for royalty. It says so on the menu.
  12. Thanks. Never had glade mojo lol. Not glades of pure powder. The only true glades I skiied were Jack Frost happy land, which were very easy and hard pack snow. Nothing like today. Believe me, I would love to do what you guys do and ski unlimited untracked deep powder In the woods, but I dont have the ability and not sure I ever will. So I'll have to live vicariously through Steeze's annual Jackson Hole TRs
  13. Me too. I thought its ok to talk about skiing on this ski forum, especially since it's a thread I made and it's not even on the Blue forum. I haven't posted a single thing on the Blue forum in weeks.
  14. Grilled Steeze said he's not giving me his number. I think it's just because he wants to inflate his post count.
  15. Wow you're in better shape than I am. I biked up Pikes Peak, Mount Evans, and Trail Ridge Road but walking up hill in ski boots is more difficult.
  16. Pretty sure JF Dan has me on ignore because he stopped commenting on all my threads and posts altogether lol. Shadows might have me on ignore also but once in a while he'll still post to call me a gaper. Its cool though I have some haters and some fans. Probably more haters at this point but haters gonna hate.
  17. That was a rough day. Had breakfast late, missed FirstTrax, couldn't get car up hill due to snow, got stuck in slow traffic, and then as you mentioned got snow in boots. Then that damn hill made it even worse. But after that it was a good day. I started taking the stairs behind Mansfield Lodge everyday after that.
  18. #1 is wrong. I was trying to walk up a hill and kept falling because it was steep. Wouldn't call it yard sailing but it was just so damn hard to get up that hill while carrying skis and poles. #3 is also wrong. I was "skating" in the line for 4 Runner and my left ski snagged a sign so I fell. I was making the V form to move forward. The lift attendant was cool and did not even call me a gaper. #4 is mostly true. However I threw the skis ahead of me so I didn't have to hold them and then slid down to escape Glades. Wow what would PASR do without my daily entertainment? Is there a way to tell how many people have me on ignore??
  19. Ok. But Not sure what to do when I feel like I would ski straight into a tree with my skis on...??? This is why I'd prefer to be with someone experienced when skiing glades.
  20. Today's just one of those days. I just want to sit in the lodge and drink coffee all day. Yesterday they practically had to restrain me at 4 pm when the lifts closed while freshies were coming down.
  21. Tried to survive on fig newtons and granola bars. Didn't work. Also tried glades near chapel. They started off flat and then turned into a steep drop off. Because I didn't want to die took my skis off and slid down. Glades look like so much fun but I just don't understand how I'm supposed to turn in the deep stuff. I tried walking on it but my leg sunk like 2 feet deep. Found lots of untracked powder a few inches deep on runs near Toll House lift So I'll do 1 or 2 more runs there and then go to Ben and Jerrys for an ice cream tour.
  22. You should be a moderator. You're the most popular PASR poster.
  23. Boots are fine. I Was skiing great yesterday. Oh well. Last hour couldnt think of anything but food so I have been forced to spend $16 on a buffalo chicken wrap and $7 on a frappuccino. Should have ate breakfast. My sugar levels are depleted from "skiing" glades.
