    Nice Cord 3/14

On the snow at 9 with a warm 25° and blue skies. Redeemed the Warren Miller tickets and didn’t even have to pay the $5 for the RFID card like the sign said. Lap on Delaware and then headed to the quad. Worked skier’s left to right hand finishing that side with 3 laps on Tunkhannock. Favorite run was Tunkhannock to Lackawanna Spur which wasn’t groomed. Upper Lackawanna was closed even though they blew on it last night. The firm cord snow makes you feel like a rockstar, especially on Lower Tunkhannock below the lift. No lift lines and ski right on. In for lunch now, Broken Heels and Chippewa Chicken sang before hitting the rest of the trails. No eating if your sitting at the bar, found out first hand.
  2. Pumped. I hope you picked up the tab since you’ve been working so much.
  3. Bummer, I was hoping for Sunday. Family lunch Saturday so we’re skiing first thing and have to leave by 10.
  4. We're heading to Elk this coming Monday if anyone is around.
  5. Pretty sure you're good to redeem it then. They just hope people lose the card before that so I'd recommend taking a picture of the bar code. It'd be cooler if they would let people upload it to their account like Panera for future use.
  6. Rained on the drive to the mountain last night at 5, but once you crossed over to the north side it was a winter wonderland. On the snow around 530 with mBike and Boo and it was still snowing. Wet, heavy snow and main, switch, razors were chop city. Thought it was going to be a leg crusher kind of night until we found TCS. Some untracked on top and the groomed last face was grate. Lapped that until a little after 7 and then headed out.
  7. Thanks for making me hungry for crab fries. It's a Philly sports event staple for me with a Victory HopDevil.
  8. Nice sunset last night but Mike’s right, the hill froze solid at 7:04. Couple good laps and lot beverages still made it worth it. Back at it tomorrow night.
  9. Awesome day at Blue. Didn’t get behind any car on the way up so knew crowds would be light. Glad we hung out in the lot because round 2 was full of soft serve and sun with no lines. On a Sunday at noon, I’ll take it.
  10. Montage had chair issues during their event
  11. There was a skunk under the quad this afternoon which really made me feel connected with nature today.
  12. Railroad log bridge. Oregon, 1903. I wonder if they had a Lincoln log contest first to figure out who’s design to use.
  13. Pulled up to some guys tailgating in a Thomas’ English Muffin box truck tonight, which was a first. He def caught me taking a picture. Quad line was dumb, wish they had the 6 running. Caught a lap with @Dirtwolfand ended at the triple since she likes the “rollers.” Spring coat nights are nice but glad it’s going to get cold again for a little.

    PASR Elk Day 2022

Anyone trying for an PASR Elk day? I have weekday passes from the Warren Miller film this year that are good after 3/1. I know @enjoralasand @popshave passes so hopefully they're down. Boo needs a 2 week notice so trying to get a date locked. A Monday or Thursday works best for me but can probably make anything work.
  15. Interesting that 'Tiny Tots' is free at CB but $50 at Blue.
  16. Sounds like your legal team redacted the good parts of that post.
  17. Pulling for a quick heal @Barb! I hope you feel better soon.
  18. You're welcome and anytime!
  19. I was in my prime at 5 years old when Little Miss came out.
  20. Says anyone with a lift ticket gets in to the concert. They also have pond skim that day. https://www.montagemountainresorts.com/mountainfest2022/
  21. Second time in 4 months. Sucks to be him.
