  1. BMR put an email out and listed the U9 pass price as *only with the purchase of a full season pass* which I didn't see online anywhere. Not that it matters to me but it might to someone. Also, pretty sure my kid has more days on the hill and in Blue's parking lot than Ski2Live has anywhere this season so don't believe it's not a kid friendly environment. Do the girls even realize they could have rode an e-scooter in the lot like GSS?!
  2. Thanks for the heads up. We haven't decided if we doing the Camp or buying group lessons through the school yet. They didn't push 'Limited' passes this year like they have in the previous years which makes me think we have until 3/15 to buy and get the gift card without issue
  3. I worked tubing like '08-'11 and definitely had people in he net. Employees did an 8 person snake after work one night and still can remember the dogpile feeling after hitting the net. Also had a customer break there leg after not clearing the lane and getting hit by a tube. Kids getting tossed out from spinning tubes were also common but they did away with that.
  4. Off peak looks like less perks now too with no VIP line. Wording also only says 10% of food and rentals for everyone. So no discounts for tuning?
  5. Shocked at the under 9 pass! Looks like dad can get new skis now
  6. Skied 830-11 and it was quite nice. Everything they blew was groomed out and smooth. Couple boiler plates in spots they didn’t get to blow next to but overall nice. The VRBO host said no one was coming after us and so we could leave whenever which was a pleasant surprise. Came back to the cabin after skiing for a shower and took off for home after 12. Only 2.5 hours back to the LV which was a nice finish.
  7. Not worth it unless you need a change of scenery. Less than half the trails open which is a bummer because the glades and bike trails look like fun.
  8. Arrived 845, booted and to the ticket window shortly after. Ticket window line to redeem my Indy pass was painfully slow and told Boo to take a run it was so bad. Got her pass the day before from the kiosk but they said I could only do the day of. Fresh blown snow with a coating from nature overnight was a nice start. Couple whales on the trails but all the trails were half width. Less than half of the trails open. No lines and trails felt empty which was nice. The quad chair had the longest line at a minute and is a trip to get on. Up hill for most of it and then wasn’t expecting first conveyer belt quad. Wow. Couple warm up laps and then we tried to figure out how get to chair 5. Missed the connector trail but made it over to Mars Hill and had fun lapping that. Couple more off chair 4 and the quad before calling it for lunch. Dropped our skis off for a wax. $22 hot wax for me and $55 light tune for Boo. Took food back to the cabin from Taverna and not bad prices for food for a basic cafeteria. Back around 430 and the skis were ready to go. They opened a couple new trails like Zeus and Marathon since the morning so it was good to get a different lap. Debated going to the Steakhouse but ate at Trax again and the food is on point. Whole menu looks really good. Back at it in the morning for hopefully more pushed out snow and terrain. Debating a double dip to Blue at night just to finish the trip off right.
  9. Headed back out after the pretzel break but the rain didn’t let up. Temps kept dropping and it started to look like snow at the top but still a wintery mix. Stuck to to the gondola to stay dry but we were soaked through after about only 6.5k vert. Didn’t get to the longest run with hearing Skyeship was down but we did do Solitude for a long run out. Holy slow. Left at about 1:30 for Courtland. Little spicy with frozen slush on the road to start but smooth sailing after Albany. Favorite thing I saw on the drive was a dental office in an old train station in Greene, NY. Greek Peak in about 15 minutes and looks like 17° and blue skies.
  10. No, unfortunately. Heading to Trax Pub & Grill now. Boo had her heart set on Steve’s Back Yard BBQ but the place was closed at 550(supposed to be 7).
  11. Pretzel slaps. Skyship Express now on a hold.
  12. Woke up to thunder and lightening this morning which was sad but quit by the time we left. Hour ride to Killington which had a 30 minute delayed opening due to weather. Parked at Bear Mountain which had maybe 15 cars. 45° but expected to drop 20° in the next 5ish hours. Little trouble redeeming the tickets that Boo won but they figured it out and we were on the snow shortly after. No rain on the first lift but the skies opened up on our Skylark/LaunchPad/Bittersweet to the K1 Express first run. Already soaked so we’re grabbing a morning beverage at the Peak Lodge and waiting for the rain to move out.
  13. We left right from work yesterday and made it to Manchester from the LV in 4:29. No issues but did miss an exit for a 3 minute delay. Motel back porch hot tub was a perfect 104° and jumped right in after the drive. Arrived right at 9 to Magic and grabbed our wicket passes. Ticket lady did ask if the person I was with was a “advanced skier” as it was very firm to start. I reassured her that yes she is and it can’t be worse than Blue Mountain. First two runs were firm but nothing crazy. Currently 46° but feels cooler. Groomers turned to corn after an hour and everything was soft by 11. No double blacks open but single diamonds are thin and spicy. Grabbing lunch at Black Line Tavern and heading back out for an afternoon session. @Boo Bearordered a loaded baked potato and I went with a burger. Killington tomorrow.
  14. It took her about a year and a half to complete. Her page is VAMP East Coast on Facebook if you want to check out the build process.
  15. My friend and Blue Mountain employee just finished a van buildout and has it listed for sale. If you know anyone that might be interested, it would be appreciated if you share! https://vanlifetrader.com/listing/new-build-explore-more-in-this-unique-159wb-promaster-with-hitch-receiver/
  16. Thanks for the beta. I was cross checking the trail map to what you were up to because that sounds good to us.
  17. Cool timestamp. I bet iPhones don't have that option.
  18. Longest day at Blue this year and probably the slowest but we had a good time with the kids. Props to @enjoralasand the rest of the PASRs for welcoming our friends. They were raving about the bacon cheeseburgers and how friendly everyone was. Went back out to catch a couple runs before their 4 hour pass ended. The sugar softened up to cream and it was fun. Kids were loving Burma with the side hits and Yeti park but still can’t convince them to French fry before the Main State flat and make it across. The line wasn’t too bad at the new 6 but the amount of people and skis laying on the snow in front of it was a pain to get through. I guess lack of snow also doesn’t help anyone spread out.
  19. Switchback and Challenge are opening tomorrow according to their email today. Also giving 15% off takeout orders with code GOEAGLES. I wonder if you can put your season pass discount on top of that.
  20. Both days. Look for my responses on other mountains in the appropriate threads.
  21. Open skier cross race tomorrow too
  22. Big Indy guy? wow TFTI
