  1. Edibles are your friend in that case. Edit: West coast weed friendly states might be limiting the terrain too much. States with recreational to choose from are California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Montana, Colorado, Alaska, and New Mexico.
  2. Safety risk on airplanes? Ever get in a car?
  3. Skied 6-7 for 6 runs. MBike and Bunski were walking out when I got there and Chuck was on his way out. Mad sticky icky icky including a full tuck down Falls that didn’t even let me make it to Homestretch. Did wax the twigs Friday so thought it wouldn’t be that bad. Stayed on steeper stuff and where there was fresh snow, it was fun but slow. Top of Razors was complete blown off so it was an interesting start. Beer Fairy surprised me with a Frost Plush so worth it 😍
  4. Jimmmmmmy came to my work after skiing and said it was grate. If you need a Miller Lite and he says he doesn’t have any, he’s a liar.
  5. You can reset when you’re in the ground. I’d rather be skiing.
  6. I had to look back. It was buried at the bottom of the 3/2/23 season pass renewal email.
  7. CLICK HERE - NO SCAM PROMISE edit we signed up but now realize we have a prior engagement
  8. 10x better tonight then last night. Met up @Dirtwolf for some laps and had a good time. Still had a couple skeet spots and brown holes, but enough grip to make it fun. Only picture I took was a Sable with double mattress on top pulling in.
  9. Same. Missed it the first time down but @Boo Bearpointed it out. Glad I didn’t stick a ski into it.
  10. Def not as soft tonight as it was today. Had some sugar, glacial, and firm crud to play in tonight. Windy af and they surprised us with turning the guns on around 630. Guns at top were only filling in the Appalachian Trail and the lower guns went straight into the trees so hopefully the winds quit to make it worth it. Lazy was the ROTN and even got to share a lift with mBike and Mrs Bunski ✔️ Last pic is the unmarked 4 foot hole on lower sidewinder.
  11. I'm telling Becky you said that so better watch your back. Probably going to throw cheese balls and goldfish at you now.
  12. Pumped to see the price the same and that Jay stayed on.
  13. Hoping it's in the next two weeks since I'm out the 25th/26th. 19th sounds good.

    3/5 Spring Like

Drove up last night to see friends and family and then stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Dickson City. Ate dinner at Burrito Loco Cantina right down the street and it was pretty good. Table side fresh made guac and got the spicy pork tacos. Boo got tacos el pastor. There was a Primanti Bros within walking distance and I wish I knew that before deciding on Mexican. Ate the free hot breakfast at the hotel and then 30 minute drive to Elk. Upper lot was full so had to boot up and take the shuttle to redeem the passes. Standing in ski boots in corrals on the back of that truck is probably the most technical thing I had to do today. Learned they had the state slalom championship going on once we were on the snow and it was packed with racers. That combined with those fixed doubles helped us decide to stay lookers right and lap the quad. Those doubles reminded me how much I don’t miss dragging a kid on the MS/Burma chairs at Blue. Spoiled with the detachables now. Snow started thicc sugar but soften up with the temperature. Everything was running good and max 1 minute wait for the quad. For the amount of cars we were surprised how empty it felt. Did everything on that side besides Upper Tunkhannock. Skiers right looked pretty good when we so the boys on it Did 8ish runs and went to the Winter Garden Restaurant for lunch. Margarita flatbread was terrible but buff chicken dip and chili were pretty good. Caught up to @mbike-skiand @NastarGlennfor a couple runs on Tecumseh and Kickapoo after lunch. The kid is fearless now and handled everything grate. Split with the boys for 1 last run and Becky Boo said her legs were tired walking back to the car. Mission accomplished. 95 minutes lot to house to complete the trip to Vermont without the drive.
  15. Confidence was high yesterday with the soft snow so we had to give them a go. It was awesome
  16. I’ll bring the bindings Saturday. I said it so now I can’t forgot then 🤞🏼
  17. Blue Saturday, Elk Sunday. Have to use the Warren Miller passes before everything melts.
  18. The van will be at Blue this weekend on display for WinterFest if anyone wants to check it out and talk to the builder.
  19. I second @RidgeRacer’s comments. Grate night skiing. Snow was so good we expanded our terrain and notched Nightmare and Falls off the kid’s list. Half the age I was when I did them the first time 💪 Saw @MattEDGE stretching out his groin from the lift after the bumps on Main. He’s got some quality stretches. Tried to catch up to him but no dice.
  20. Back at 6 with the fam to 34° and the best night snow conditions this year. Met up with friends and the kids only wanted to stay on Lazy and Burma for the side hits and Yeti park. Both were smooth cream. Even got to share a lift ride with @mbike-skiand friend! Peace’d around 8 and didn’t even get a beverage down because we had to do a bathroom break JADIP Side note, does any night people think this is the most lights out collectively on the mountain in recent years? They did fix the big dark spot on Lazy but Burma has a whole corner out, usually down to dirt because no one can avoid it. Trails End is also a pretty dark finish.
  21. Went with low expectations since it seemed so wet but it was quite pleasant. Full grip and snow wasn't slow. Back there tonight so hoping it doesn't freeze solid.
