  1. agreed
  2. I want to see Bear try for a April competition
  3. I voted snow surfaces so that you guys blow extra deep to stay open longer.. I heard hot dog stand, a ticket window or two a couple of first aid is a real option, I also heard the announcer saying you guys got approval for more trail expansion?? I would try and figure away to get the crowds over to the other lift so they don't all bottle neck at the lifts at the lodge. You guys rock. The comp was good last night but why wasn't ski patrol manning the site through out the comp? That seems strange given the nature of the type of competition. I should start a new thread.
  4. If you knew the staff here the way I do you would also know that there is no way that they could be there nor would they want to. adding the central mountains and repping them was something I pushed for long before you were ever around. And so we are clear..... They threw the first punch at me when they put me down for what? What is the matter with hitting back? What was the reason for the demotion Doug? Put it in your words. Lets hear it!
  5. I didn't know I was banned until today.. I got banned because I mentioned in sarcastic to all the members here how I have spent hundreds of hours and over a thousand dollars in support and they apparently won't allocate web space to hosting of park videos along with the other rude things they have done like banning and demoting etc etc
  6. One of the staff members did that to be smart and antagonistic. I will be there. Nipples will be cruising the park all day. Ridge is racing.
  7. Race skis for all you twin tippers is the way to go!
  8. hahaha met you last night! Keep doing it and track your results on your profile on the nastar website. as your skiing skills improve so will your racing skills. It is a great program for everyone from the beginner to the expert. The key is to race fairly often throughout the season to offset the variables in the way the handicap pace set is determined. I guarantee that if you are determined to get a little faster through the course each time you race and you do 10 days over a season you will see improvement. Last year, Nastar turned Ridge into a bonafide racer and in the course of one year got an invite to the nationally sanctioned state races with a little bit of training but mostly only self determination.
  9. I don't have the experience with racing that you have but it seemed much more organized than the confusing stuff of the USAA race registrations that I have been subjected to with Ridge. I only know how the 9-10 year olds were ran. On the contrary. When you register at the Nationals you are given detailed itenarys of the races where when and what. I always have questions I have had to ask at each USAA race and I still have a bazillion questions about post season stuff. Seems to be kept a secret, where as the information on the Nationals at Nastar is readily available with people eager to answer questions when asked, unlike the one-liners I have been getting this season with the USSA. Seeding or Bib numbers is the only vague thing at Nastar Nationals. I think one of the most beneficial things about the Nastar nationals is getting out to see how many people in so many different categories and age groups from so many different places rather than the same faces you see at the local races. Besides, anyone who travels that far is serious about the national race and not just doing it because it something to do that is available in your back yard. There are new stories to hear and lots of great people to meet. They are different, more fun, more welcoming, more encouraging. It is a totally different atmosphere, more positive than the local racing scene. Just my opinion. As far as the technical difficulty aspect goes. THAT is BS... if you are top at Nastar, chances are you are top at USAA - exception is the 13 to 20 year old divisions and I believe that is because the excellent junior racers are busy with post season racing or are discouraged to not spend time with the recreational racers or they allocate the expense to other places.
  10. looks like the staff has chosen to delete posts quite contrary to the bullshit that they said they wouldn't do . hypocrit asses.. Whats the matter does the truth hurt?
  11. Why not go for the racing if you have some talent? We are staying at Gondola run.. right under the gondola
  12. Stop over at Killington.. NIpples is in the next snow comp for kids 13 and under.
  13. I messaged Greg... Hopefully the staff here aren't total dicks (since they kicked me out of their click) for not fitting the "mold". Hopefully in consideration of all the time and work, over a thousand dollars worth of stickers and gear and donations from me and my kids that they will allocate the webspace to you and your great idea!!!!!!!!!!!! They said they would work on it a few months back. But I am thinking that the staff isn't as interested in enhancing website as much as they are interested in debating about who is picking on who.......... Rant
  14. There are 10 of us (family) going - I know about 100 others from various places that will also be there. If you can do it..... Go !!!!!!!!!!!!! not to race and win but go to have a good time and get some racing in!!!! Park City was really good last year for all the different events. This is my fourth trip to Steamboat and I know that town will put on a good show. They have a huge amount of snow now and it is still snowing. Conditions should be the absolute best. Book now if you are considering it.
  15. Depends on how he does. Probably Monday.. if he makes the team
  16. Don't knock it till you try it. Nipples races Nastar switch sometimes. The announcers were getting quite a kick out of him at Breck last week.
  17. Good job, easy to watch and listen to! You guys have a ton of more stuff than what was shown...
  18. State Racing Derbies are at RT this weekend.
  19. For just general free riding, CB over Blue for the variety. Blue gets boring faster than CB ..

  21. The rumor is to go with absolute minimum staff with little service and sell lift tickets for as long as people will pay for them at BC. Keep your fingers crossed for cold weather!!
  22. Welcome Mike! Look for the same stickers on helmets and such.
  23. Thanks for that! I hope that freestyle judges take notice I keep checking it out once a week or so looking for new stuff. Keep it rolling! Put a counter on it... The roundtopriders website just hit a million views.
