  1. Will be there a little later. Hopefully you guys are still around
  2. JFBB changed their mind and decided that they will not be opening JF this weekend... The temps were ideal for snowmaking this past week and our snowmakers have been able to pile up the snow. Jack Frost will not open this weekend as planned due to the unfortunate rainy forecast, we still anticipate opening up sometime next week with over 70%of the mountain to be open on day one! We will announce opening day early next week so stay tuned!
  3. Looking mighty nice. Will be there tomorrow night.
  4. Well now you can compare yourself to the GOAT because of it. Not the worst thing in the world.
  5. A classic. Going old school a bit here but Good King Wenceslas is another beast
  6. Looking at night sessions my next few days out. Thank God for electricity
  7. Mele Kalikimaka is a pretty awesome tune as well. I'd put that right behind I saw three ships.
  8. Speaking of Christmas songs. I've always been partial to "I Saw Three Ships". Always gave me that Colonial Christmas vibe which I dig. I sort of envision John Adams (who was from Boston) waking up every Christmas morning and heading to Boston Harbor to celebrate the arrival of three ships that were decked out in Holiday lights. Granted Holiday lights didn't exist back then but this is my vision. So in my mind the three ships were decorated like the Griswold's house. And no they weren't tacky and yes they were "low e" lights, ensuring that the carbon footprint was minimal. Anyway...the three ships, twinkling brightly, would bring food for the Colony in the form of porridge and meat pie as well as ale and cider. Adams would be the master of ceremonies as the ships arrived to the sound of fife and drum. The colonists would then partake in a huge Christmas celebration...right there on the harbour, which was set up with hundreds of tables for the people to enjoy their Christmas feast! Long story short, the song "I Saw Three Ships" was written (in my mind) in celebration of this fictitious annual, colonial celebration that I made up. How about all of you? What's your favorite holiday song...and why?
  9. Thank good sir. Purchased a few for my kids.
  10. I'm partial to the Autumn Blaze Maple myself. The bright red color it produces is stunning.
  11. How are we supposed to play your game when every time we take a guess we're met with a response like the above? Well guess what mister. I'm done playing your analogus game!
  12. Although I've never been I think the answer you're looking for is likely Blue Knob.
  13. That's a really nice shot of Blue the True.
  14. This makes my brain hurt. Sitting there and calculating the cost savings by parking in one lot over another would make me nuts. Why even leave the house at that point? Just stay home...costs nothing.
  15. Was great last night too. Best runs I've taken all season.
  16. Gave new meaning to the term "night skiing". Skied it primarily for the photo opp.
  17. Slopeside area is looking classy as always complete with "holiday" lights, firepits and ADK chairs.
  18. Riding the main street dubb as I type this. First night sesh of the season. Snow is surprisingly decent. Crowds are non existent. Life is good.
