You wouldn't do a season pass at Elk if it were closer?

Good points. I was looking at it from a dealing with the crowds perspective. You feel that 400,000 so much more at Blue, which is a tiny fraction of the size of a JH. 700,000 spread out across 2500 acres, to me, seems ideal. Then again they live / ride out there for a reason so I can totally understand their frustration.

I wish we had their problems. They should come spend a winter in Pennsylvania...for perspective.

$600 for a full pass vs. $429 at Blue? That's like paying $50 for a Big Mac meal at McDonalds vs. $40 for the Prime Ribeye at Morton's.

This may have been one of the more epic reports in PASRs history. I remember it well.

Salty stop stirring the pot. It's a '19-'20 season pass so technically, yes, they are throwing in rest of '18-'19 for free.

They'll probably call it something stupid like "Xtreme". My suggestion (if Blue's reading)... "Edge of Paradise". I think that makes sense because of where it's located but the name also celebrates one of the coolest cats around. If they call it that they should add a spine for grindin'.

I really need to go to one of those. Last season pass holders party I went to was at Jack Frost like 8 or 9 years ago with Phillycore and JFDan. If I remember correctly they served ribs and Choco-Tacos.

On the morning of the day named after the Roman god Saturn. Also on the evening of the day of the sun, otherwise known as "sunedai" in old English (the language...not to be confused with the adult beverage otherwise known as "old E").

Fair trade off in my opinion, $20 in cocoa sales for one less person ducking ropes to ski rad snowmaking whales on sidewinder.

Sounds to me like you got your moneys worth and then some.

Frost guards are amazing. Would have never known about them until my wife picked one up for me a few years ago. Now I'm hooked. Her common sense levels far exceed mine so yeah.

I'll re post what I post a few hours ago... [emoji4] "I would think that this was a successful trip for you guys. Have a safe flight home." In other words...+++++VIBES++++++
-
You should do that.

It's on the website

I would think that this was a successful trip for you guys. Have a safe flight home.

I believe POC is also looking for the Apres scene as well.

I'm definitely not there but perhaps could be at some point. I see people enough though to make me feel like I have that interaction to a certain extent. I'm a freaking hermit as it is so, for me, it's conducive to how I like to work. Not that I can or want to move just yet but having the option to live anywhere you want is a nice perk.

I don't know if I could ever go back to an office again.
-
Methinks you're ready for a change POC.

I remember skiing the day after or maybe two days after and I was in places that I didn't even know existed.

That works!

That's what I was thinking...since Barney's doesn't span the width of the trail shouldn't they just practice getting in from the side and getting out from the side? I would think that's the most efficient way to get to someone. That said I can't hate on them too much...when I broke my shoulder they were pretty cool and helped me out.

I never understood the sled in the bumps thing. Maybe one of the patrollers reading will sign up and post to explain. I'm seriously curious.
