Arrived a little after 7 to cut up fresh snow all over the mt. Lots of people are here so any chance of skiing untracked snow was gone. Snow drift is pretty bad ass. I haven't been here in a while so it was nice to see that big boulder trail is still featureless. Just lots of fresh snow on it. Nice night.

Conditions are stellar. fresh snow everywhere. The storm produced up here. Getting off the lift now. I'll post more later.

I wanted an everyday driver that skied similar to the k2 public enemy. Took my chances after reading numerous good reviews on the Salomon twenty twelve and these skis have exceeded my expectations. I believe the name was changed to the rocker 2 or something similar for this year. Based on what you're looking to ski for these may be for you. The twenty twelve is a 91 - twin rocker. Very light which will help in the trees. You should be able to get a good deal on them. Otherwise the rocker 2 has an extra millimeter but otherwise the same thing.

Got back a few hours ago. Great day. Snow was so good that Phillycore conducted an elevator clinic to a girl who's been apparently eyeing it up for years but always afraid to ski - that is until today. With Phillycore's tutilage, the girl skied Vader with no problem. Lapped vader, made a sketchy run in Risk It. T-bolt etc. Tress are getting super thin. Didn't even touch happyland. The fog wasn't a huge issue. The sun tried to come out a few times. Closed the Mt. Didn't really want to leave. Elevator shot below.

I'm here with my kid. Her first day out. Perfect snow for her.

Don't know any of the childrens programs people. They all do a great job though. He'll be in good hands.

I should be there Sunday. If so i may be teaching though until 11. Gotta check the schedule.

Hate to say it because I like the mountain but it seems like the place is becoming a circus.

This thread is like a trip down memory lane. Bigdaddyk was a Jackson frost regular so his TRs are missed. I think he got pissed about something on here and left town. I remember his day trip TR to mount snow from NEPA.

I see racers there on midway (mittl weg) all the time but had no idea it was open to the public. I'd be interested in that.

Oh snap, didn't 999 and the hunter dude go at it pretty hard. I don't think 999 can come back. I think he was banned for fighting with P steeze. Unless I'm thinking of someone else.
