  1. They reached the 2k. Never been to Plattekill. How far is it from Belleayre? I'm assuming it's about the same distance from NEPA?
  2. Squaw valley is reporting "neck deep" powder on their Facebook page.
  3. Isn't Blue Knob out that way as well? I'd throw that one on the list also if you're out there.
  4. I'm sorta biased because I teach there, but Jack Frost's terrain is perfect for learning as well as progressing and the layout separates the beginners from the tougher stuff on the east side. I honestly don't think you can go wrong.
  5. Holy fat skis! The dude skiing the Line's seemed to be having no issues at all. Beautiful pics too. I skied with a few Epic Ski peeps at Killington about four of five seasons ago and they all ripped.
  6. 8 hours gets you pretty much anywhere! Based on your post above, you may want to look into Mt. Snow. You can probably make it from Scranton in 4 1/2.
  7. My non skier wife and my not ready to ski big mountains kid loved lake placid.
  8. Great making turns with Dan the man fresh off his trip from CO. I desperately want to ski steamboat now. Great ski day today. Mad tree glade was sweet. Lots of fast carving today. JADIP.
  9. I hear ya. I lived in philly for 27 years before we moved out a few years ago. So much nicer not having to drive far to go skiing.
  10. Glad you guys are getting the goods out there. Pics are great and the snow in the video looks awesome.
  11. Shouldn't the diamonds be horizontal rather than vertical?
  12. How cold is it? How much powder did you ski? Pics? Full TR? Come on guys, I'm living vicariously through you this week. I need the scoop.
  13. Have a great time gentlemen. Looking forward to the TR.
  14. Or else its off to the principals office.
  15. Of course. Johnny Style took a his famous photo and posted it here. http://www.paskiandride.com/forums/topic/15314-jack-frost-2-27-10/page__st__40
  16. Risk it isnt a normal glade or trail. It's a pretty much a cliff. There is a narrow section down the middle that doesn't require air but does require some really quick turns. There's normally a lot of people on it right after or during a storm.
  17. Conditions were awesome today with a light snow falling the entire day. Tomorrow's gonna be nice.
