  1. blowing on river shot means blowing on the elevator. Like.
  2. That's usually a good time to ski WF. Theres even a chance that you may find the slides open. The snow is typically better that time of year up there. You should find the entire Mt. open. Glades should be nice too. (make it a point to ski Sugar Valley and Cloudsplitter). Where are you staying? The Lake Placid shuttle will pick you up and take you to the Mt. from just about anywhere in town.
  3. You know I love Jf, but I'm not really sure how snow gods come into play with rain and fog. Just sayin.
  4. Between Phillycore passing his stones and this snow in the forecast, my day is made.
  5. Just got back. Dan it actually got better as the day went on. I had little ridge racer with me who did amazing for her first day of the season,. The snow got sugary with increased traffic as the day wore on. Anyway just a few observations since this was my first day on East Mt this season. Challenge glade seems to officially be known as Happy Land now with the new trail sign. I also noticed a new sign marking the run through the trees that takes you from Happy Land to River Shot called "Marks Way". Theres also a new sign under the East Mt lift about half way down in the trees called "Docs Way". The Little Cliff Huck is no more. The boulder that stood there a at one time is now in pieces. It looks like they took a stick of dynomite to it. Once snow covered will be skiable however. The new and improved Risk It looks sweet. There's a new trail sign that reads "dare to Risk it?" that stands in front of a narrow pathway which eventually leads to to the cliff / tree run. Once winter finally gets here east mt will be lots of fun.
  6. Nice pics. The Line Prophet (#1) interests me.
  7. You're a trooper buddy. Hope you get better soon.
  8. Philpug has been destroying Blue for at least 10 years now online. A bit too much IMO.
  9. If you're going for the skiing wait till Saturday or go later in the day. If you're going to tailgate then have at it.
  10. Glad to hear that the guns were on by closing. R2 you must have been in Heaven today with the fast snow. Thunderbolt and Challenge were nice today.
  11. Snow was soft today. - See you tomorrow.
  12. Should be extra busy with the eagles out of the playoffs.
  13. Android is starting to step it up on the gaming front. This is a pretty bad ass skiing sim. http://approb.com/android-games/2369.html
  14. Its freaking cold out there now. They must have had a good night of snowmakinglast night.

  17. They blew a ton over night. Exhibition had pretty large whales on it and they started blowing on Thunderbolt this morning. Snow was much better in the trees (Happy Land and One Park glade) - still not skiable top to bottom yet. Snow was good - man made chalk is always nice. Oh and it was nice meeting you VinnyV.
  18. Dan the man coming down Demattes.
  19. Back from Day 1 at Jackson Frost. Met JFDan and Phillycore at the bottom of the quad after a fast run down Dematte's. Dan, Phillycore and I lapped Demattes and Challenge for the next few hours. Snow turned sugary as the day went on. No ice or cookies to be found. After lunch I switched from my PE's to Phillycore's Nick Greener's and we lappped challege and Demattes for the the next few hours. Today was lots of fun an hopefully the start of a great season.
  20. How deep was blue today? Anyway its a sickbird day 1 at frost.
  21. Actually let it be known that I coined "trashketball". When it becomes a worldwide sensation, I want credit for coming up with the name.
