Anyone have an extra buddy pass? My friend (not Matt) who is joining me on my Breckenridge trip wants to try Blue one weekend. He has the Epic Pass but I've already convinced him to try Blue Mountain the True Mountain.

Still can't get over people not wearing helmets anymore, especially boarders.
Theres A LOT more boarder at Bear Creek that dont wear helmets... a lot. Mostly younger park riders of course.
I didnt wear a helmet till I was like 27. Foolish in hindsight. I remember one morning a few years ago waiting for the gates to open at blue and thinking to myself "wow im basically the only one not wearing a helmet".
This is kind of corny but 100% true. A few weeks after I broke my arm I had a nightmare I took the same fall but I hit my head and was in the hospital with my entire family standing around my bed. When I woke up from that is when I decided it was time to get a helmet. I only told a few people about that, its kind of weird to put into words honestly.

Had a great day today. Out on the snow by 805, snow was perfect everywhere. Took a fall in the glades off Main Street, wasn’t going fast, but hit a small stump, don’t even know what happened, but the back of my head hit first. Thank God for helmets and MIPS. Thanks @indiggioand Slim for waiting and making sure I was ok. This is the dent in my helmet!
Glad your okay.

Very fun morning. I got on the snow a little late around 820 after chatting a bit with @enjoralas in the lot. Then met up with skier @Mixilplix and the Bethlehem boyz for my first chair ride up. Proceeded to do three runs thru the new park which is a lot of fun and very well built. Credit to the groomers and park crew for the set ups. Then took a few runs with mixi and @PSUFly down switchback, sidewinder and paradise-dreamweaver.
Then I told fly I was gonna hit the restroom quick then come back out and he said he was going to hit Coming Soon and take off. I figured why not I’ll do another quick run and bounce. A 15+ minute lift line and 10+ minute quad break down later we were finally at the top. SMH.
My first time down coming soon besides last year when it was ungroomed. The top 2/3rds was really good conditions but the bottom third was pretty dicey. The trail itself is really cool though. Nice and wide and the banking on riders right will probably create some fun side hits.
very fun morning!

Another great morning. A crispy 13ish degree but was nice and comfortable under the blasting sun. Little complaint; can you drop the rope at 9? I think it didn’t drop till 905 which seems to be the norm?
They opened A lift around 11 which lighten the lift lines to next to no wait for about an hour before we left around noon.
Pretty happy with the SS 180 5050 180 out.

for you park people, Blue's park is sick right now. i posted a report of the park in another thread. its going to be so good. and 2 weeks from now there should be even more new features coming out. this will be a grand PASR day.

Did they start Nastar yet? I’d be interested in an evening there if they did!
No clue tbh. Although I have seen nothing to suggest it has started.

In a vacuum, a couple extra dollars for a "season pass" parking ticket isn't the end of the world. Or having a premium parking lot isn't the end of the world. But my fear is with the new ownership that this will just be the beginning of them trying to nickel and dime us at every turn. Passes will be more expensive that's for sure. Will they offer early bird specials? Food will be more expensive, soft goods, lockers, rentals ect ect will all be more expensive. Then they expand the "premium parking" to the entire lot in 2 years.
IDK, after watching Vail run JFBB into the ground I'm a bit pessimistic about the new ownership.
@JFskiDan warned me 2(?) years ago when Peak was bought by Vail what would ultimately happen, and he was correct.
