I like 78...as somebody said way better than 22...and now 476 is 70mph so I can go 80 and not even worry about getting a ticket. Better production than the first night of snowmaking last season. Probably cause they were able to start early and go till late morning..based on my arithmetic the cannons blew for 18-19 hours and should be back on shortly after dusk. High five for stoke pass it down. I'm still hoping they can get open Sunday for TP4 and Ski2Live

With the winds we should have some glade action for opening day.

Not really cold all weekend but cold enough to blow snow the majority of the weekend. Unfortunately overnight lows weren't as cold as expected as its already up to 33 degrees in Allentown. Maybe a few inches overnight Sunday night. The hills are alive with the sound of snowmaking cannons!!!

I think it could be as early as Monday..or as late as Friday.. Daytime high temperature for next Thursday will be in the teens in the Poke N Hoes...6 pack next Saturday..they'll have 23 trails and 4 routes down by next weekend..you heard it here first boys and girls. The stoke market is rising.

Round the clock snowmaking Saturday??

First major snowmaking assault begins tonight. I'm guessing the guns are lit up around 8pm!!!!

Unless you want to ski the full vertical in one run...I did a 61,000 vert day at Jackson hole in 2007 including 16 gondola laps which is about 2700 vert...was a hard pack day. Most vertical I skied in a day since senior year in high school when I cracked 70K a few times at blue back when I'd put in 9-10 hour sessions.

I don't think there's enough runs off the main summit at whiteface to support the capacity of a gondola plus winds might be an issue.

I didn't know you skied back then. Thought you just started like ten years ago.

I feel like if taxes are higher then the average person/family has less disposable income and with less disposable income they won't buy is much which in effect hurts both small and large businesses. I had a debate with somebody who was pro $15 an hour minimum wage earlier. Was an interesting discussion. I will never blame or fault people who are on welfare...even if they have a side hustle that's off the books and they drive an Escalade and wear Air Jordan's...even if they use food stamps for cake and red bull...I blame the system not the people.
