Another great day today. Love riding Switch and Sidewinder. All trails were in great shape. We’ve had some beautiful bluebird weather this week

He’s always been nice to us. He likes free snacks, too.

I didn’t have a problem.. it was pretty frozen. Why should Blue waste the money? Obviously, most people don’t care, they still park there.

Can’t believe no one filmed it. I left around 11am, while waiting to turn left on Blue Mountain Drive, about 15 cars pulled in. Only one did not have Jersey plates.

I’m not surprised no one wants to do ski patrol anymore. Not sure the perks are that great anymore and you have to have training and recerts- probably out of your own pocket. That on top of no respect, and the amount of attitude and abuse they probably have to put up with. Not sure if anyone saw on IG, it was the head of Monmouth Mountain ski patrol basically just asking people please don’t duck ropes- they could be doing avalanche mitigation, or by going into the area, you could trigger an avalanche. The amount of nasty comments was pretty incredible.

I guess it’s worth it to drive an hour, ski 2 hours, then drive home an hour.

I’d love to come up Sunday am for a couple hours. Have to see what’s happening here.

Skied from 915-130. I didn’t feel the lift lines were that long, we use the season pass line, and I felt it was helpful. Nice snow conditions all day. I guess all the weekenders will get rid of all the cookies on Switchback and Sidewinder for us folks that ski during the week. 😎

It took me 2 1/2 hours from right above Quakertown. If anyone is familiar with 309 where it turns in to I-78 West always a cluster there. Then my escape route onto 145 there also a cluster. Cars off the road everywhere. Can’t understand why folks in small cars with low profile tires even attempt to drive in this.

What a fun, fun day. Took me 2 1/2 hours to get there, but so worth it. Most of the problems on 309 and 78. Everything bumped up, no crowds. They even had a demo day going!

Speaking of Superb owl Sunday, I believe I saw a great horned owl sitting in a tree on my way to Blue Wednesday. Never saw one in the wild, it was exciting.

Yeah, Barbs way was pretty rough before they took the features out. I tried to avoid it.

They had the front blocked Thursday am, but opened it up around 10am. The tour buses had still been parking across the street in the afternoon.

Not according to Slim who posted on Blue’s FB that he took a core shot with brand new skis Right side TCS has been rock city all week.

The past 3 days have been perfect. Great snow, great weather and great company.

Razors been a little tricky this season. Usually I’m not a fan of Challenge, but I’ve liked it more than Razors this year.

The mornings have been improving. Conditions softened up nicely early today, but no sugar piles.

I was there today, skied from about 930-230, I thought the snow was better than yesterday, not so many cookies. Challenge, TCS, Lazy and Chute all very nice. Did Razors once, 1st head wall very slick, but other than that pretty good. I wasn’t going to risk it yesterday, it looked like a glacier. I’m really liking my new skis, probably the best skis I’ve ever owned.
