If it really does come down to blowing whales and sitting on them vs opening a trail or two, I would almost hope they wait to open. would prefer decent conditions and opening and staying open.

I was keeping the pass in the little pocket thing in my mitten. worked really well, just had to wave my arm.

I'll be up in Scranton for Thanksgiving so some early season turns at Montage might be in order on Root Friday.

Montage will be an option this weekend and if memory serves me right they usually open with at least one trail on the North Face.

Either Brian Westbrook is shredding the gnar, or today is the first PASR day of the year as well.

I'm blaming at least part of all the issues on the fact that thousands of people freaked out and all left work early which jammed up the roads. I stayed until 530 and got home faster than I normally do.

Girlfriend left work in Bethlehem at 2:45 and got home a little after 8:30. Guess there was a little snow

The snow is coming down like crazy here in Blue Bell. Switched to sleet for a few minutes then back to big fluffy flakes.

I felt the need to wear zubaz last week as well, so I did. Best thing I've ever bought on the internet. side note, Montage is doing a ton more business in the event realm now. Wine Fest, Beer fest, yoga things, the water park, etc. Plus the concert venue. I don't see it exploding in terms of a cash cow, but they are definitely paying the bills now.

I sincerely doubt that will ever happen....

Woke up to Snow on my car Saturday in State College. Also almost blew away that day too. Shocked that the tent I was in to tailgate wasn't sent a few miles away. That wind was brutal.

I take a long weekend away from here and Boom, we actually start talking about snow. I'm getting pumped!

Thought that counts? I was in high school when I started thinking about that. I don't carry much in my pockets nowadays. I need all my pocket space for ice cold beer.

I always used to keep some cash in my pockets/money clip when I was on the mountain because I felt it would be nice to give ski patrol a tip if they ever needed to take me out on a sled. A little something for the effort, ya know?

Why not go for the ultimate in security and get a wallet that can be affixed to you via a series of pickpocket resistant metal links?

He's just keeping the wallet one step ahead of pickpockets who typically would go for the right rear
