Enjoy the freshies guys. I"m on call for work this weekend so I'll be sitting with my laptop all damn weekend instead of enjoying it.

I used to love going up to that top lodge with my cousins and hanging out in the middle of our epic all day sessions as teenagers. the top loft area was always deserted so you had the whole thing to yourself and it was pretty cool. I think they used to call it Cameltop if I'm not mistaken.

Lazy sucked but everything else was great. Spent the whole day in skis and was really getting into it. Its super fun to have mini breakthroughs on two planks. Beer and camaraderie was on point as well. Looking forward to doing it again.

Definitely Sunday, probably Saturday too.

Even if coming soon was completely finished it would be a miracle if it got open before March at this point.

Let's also not forget to notice that the land along the access road up top is subdivided into lots. My best guess would be that those are meant to sell at some point. If the long term plan was for Blue to build a condo complex or even townhomes there they would not subdivide the land like that. They are clearly thinking that each lot would be built on and deeded separately.

A quick topo check indicates it's just a lot on a hill, so probably not. I'm not really up on the local info though.

That leaky pipe is kind of disappointing. They had it opened up yesterday, so someone didn't do a good job and then they reburied it. Dumb. Fix it when it's open, now they have to waste more time and money to open that up again and do it right.

Killer day in the lot, mediocre day on the hill but it was an all around awesome time. Can't think of a better way to celebrate 15 years than by shredding and drinking with all you guys.

I think it's pretty interesting that they own that big parcel on the other side of the street as well as that one parcel way of to the top left of the map.

Can't wait to see where this is going. Also no, but it's on my list of things to possibly pick up.

Today will officially be a stock up on beer and try to return my North face shirt since the rain is killing me today.

What is the going rate for a beverage at Blue? I typically pay Free.99 at the bar at the bottom that I believe is called the Trunk and Tire.

Wouldn't that be the equivalent of a double blue square? Which I think a few mountains used to use.

Thanks for all the shredding over the years, and recently for the real sense of community at Blue. Definitely a very cool thing we've got going on here and it's really gotten better and better since the days when I had a PASR sticker on the back of my old red helmet.

I just hope all the snow they made on the open terrain isn't gone by the time we get there on Sunday. Think they will even be open Saturday? It's probably a given that they close early Saturday best case scenario.
