    Snow at CB

The link is still there, you just have to scroll down. The web cam is almost completly white! And I just noteced that they have a couple osilating fan guns, thats so cool. I belive I saw some snow plumes around 2:40 on the way out of school, but I'm not positive.
  2. 6:45AM and they're still blowing on the base. And possibaly Mark Anthony/Upper Cleo, but its hard to tell.
  3. They turned on another tower gun on the base! And possibaly more on the mountain. I love it!
  4. I heard a humming coming from my computer, so I opened the web browser. And I saw snow! It's an awesome sight. I am happy now.
  5. Wow, that's a lot of fire power. Hopefuly we'll see a large pile of snow in your yard friday morning.
  6. I believe The Loft is store credit.

  8. The Loft had some good deals on last years stuff. I got my new set up for the about retail price of the board.
  9. I like NOFX and Pennywise, and any thing fast and kind of heavy.
  10. There supposed to put the rails in after they blow snow this year so they may be in storage or some where else. Did you see any other rails laying around?
  11. I like watching ski racing beacuse they are on snow. And I like any thing on snow.
  12. I just read that artical. I was happy, until I read the last line. me> <snowtubing
  13. Anything with flames.
  14. HDPE is awsome, I've never use it for rails/boxes but it should work good. You can also get HDPE pipes that might work good for coping, and it is fairly flexible so you could bend it around a c-box or such. And it dosen't get brittle in the cold like pvc. You could check out plastic suppliers for prices, and they may have scrap cheap.

    P-tex burning?

Thanks, I'll have to test that out. I think I saw a 300 and 380 degree gun. I let you know the results

    P-tex burning?

Does any one know the mealting tempature of p-tex? I though it was meantoned but can't find it (300ish?). I found out last year that p-tex sticks fit into the mini hot glue guns, but mine wasn't hot enough. I found the other day that the high temp guns are 380 degrees and only ~$2 at walmart, so it might work for a low cost p-tex gun. Thanks
  17. The rails looked intimadating to me the first time I saw them unburried and set up right. It should keep some kids off, but they will still try to use the sides as jumps.
  18. I thought he was just refering to the fact that the lift is hardly used (which is a good thing). But mabey I'm just nieve. I don't think it will mess anything up too bad, just another eye sore. At the the end of season( a very very long time from now) we shoud try to get something worked out so we could use it without paying for the cBeach ticket and waiting in line. It looks like fun, but not worth paying to get into the water park and standing in line for an hour.
  19. I wish I had money to buy toys (excvating equipment) like that. That jump is sick.

  23. I got mine.
  24. The PVC sounds like a good and easy fix. It is only angle iron, but it is only 1.5" wide. Thanks for the Ideas. I'll post pics when i'm done. [edit] the quick edit is realy cool. [/edit]
  25. Almost Completed Rail [9/28/05] I was thinking about how to fix the rail so that it won't gouge out your base and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this or any suggestions. I was thinking about filling down the sharp edge on the coping and putting a 2x4 flat against the end and filing that to a curve with a 1.5" radius. Do you think this will be sufficient or have any other suggestions? Thanks. Also feel free to use this thread to post any other questions anyone has about building rails/boxes.
