Mess
I have been using gloves but have never spent too much money on any of them. Looking to make a purchase soon especially after today. My fingers were freezing. I have heard mittens might be the way to go. Thoughts?

GrilledSteezeSandwich
PASRs seem to like Hestra gloves..cost $100-150 but last many years. I've always used Da Kine gloves which are more like $75. I'll won't do mittens..not as good grip

phillycore
I've had my hestra 3 finger mitts and heli gloves for a decade now..... Longest lasting pieces of equipment I have by far. I paid $106 for the two pairs on a BOGO black friday deal at ski shop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
GrilledSteezeSandwich
My last da Kine gloves last me like 7-8 years. Before that I had Swanys which are crap.
indiggio
My 5-fingered Hestras are on their 6th season of being ridden hard and put away wet. Couple of seams have started to tear, but a little thread took care of them. However, I did steal the son's Hestra Lobster mitten liners which were 5-fingered, as my thumbs developed holes too big to be repaired. Love the bungie strap to prevent accidental drop from the lift when checking phone, etc. Not good in the rain at all, as the leather just soaks up water and then they weigh a ton. Agree.... I will add that you do have to do some maintenance with the leather on the hestra Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My helmet is older than some of the middle schoolers at Blue Thursday night..funny but true.

Now I hit them up with the balm right after any exposure to wet weather and they have never done that again. Smells nice too.

RidgeRacer
Dakine seems to work pretty well for me as well.

Once they're dry, I lather on some of the conditioning goop to bring them back to their soft, supple condition.
