tnt
Wasn't there some brew-ha-ha about bringing lunch coolers into the lodge a few years back? Is that still going on? We might head to Blue tomorrow.

enjoralas
There are signs posted stating that coolers on weekends and holidays are only allowed in the lower lodge, might even say in designated areas, but I can't remember. Also says no crockpots at all.
Shadows
A nice large deck or patio area at the lower lodge would be excellent with big smart windows and solar panels Edited January 6, 2018 by Shadows

momskeeztoo
I always bring my own snacks to lower lodge. No one says anything to me. Of course, I'm usually there during the week. I was there last Sunday, however, and they didn't seem to care.

momskeeztoo
There's no sausage or steak, so I doubt you'd be interested 😝
Shadows
Thw condition of floors can tell you a lot about a building. lower lodge has 2x4s for floor and you can tailgate in gravel lots. Once they put tile/carpet/asphalt in funs over 1

Once they put tile/carpet/asphalt in funs over I really hope they never change the lower lodge. I love it. I don't even mind the muddy parking lot. All part of the ambiance.
