3/14…Sunny Pi day.

Hey All,

 

I’m back from another morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot before 720am with some valley fog and the temperature around 30 degrees…the fog burned off right away revealing sunshine. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Enjorales, Pots, Hoodie, Dirtwolf, Toast, BenM, JFDan, PARidge, Mute and Schifdawg.  
 

The OG six pack was not running so began on the quad.  I first skied paradise which was pretty nice a step softer than frozen cord and smooth. Then razors which was similar nice snow, down Main Street and the cord had cookied up already, razors got cookied up and challenge had crispy cookies.  Sidewinder had pretty nice snow and due to my cat like reflexes I avoided the bare spot.  
 

Lazy Mile initially was apparently good but cookies when I was on it.  I ended the session with my first run down Burma in a few months and went through Yeti park for the culture.

Amazed by the coverage...good job blue! Snow quality not so much. Actually shouldn't say that razors first couple of runs was actually pretty good. Was great to take a few runs with @toast21602 fresh off his Utah trip. Good to see you bud!

I got a full session on despite a hard spill on sidewinder. The rollers got me. Hit one wrong. Was the  skiing on one leg hoping to save it before, like waves at the beach,  another roller came in and knocked me down for the count. Thankfully all good and skied a bunch of runs after but now my ribs hurt when I sneeze. Took a few more on side after to make up for that debacle. Fun day all things considered

@RidgeRacer reminds me of a Chumbawumba song. I’m gonna be like a mighty might Bosstones song and knock on wood cause I haven’t fallen in over a year and still have the crutches under my bed. 
 

I’m gonna try and make it out tomorrow I guess it’s a running joke now that I don’t ski Sundays anymore plus haven’t seen @NMSKI in awhile..pretty soon I won’t have the option of to ski or not to ski…won’t even be a question.

Many peeps all over are jelly of that base, 7springs is kaput among others and I do have to say their base is pretty spectacular all things considered.

Snow was just ok but in some ways it feels like a bonus.

I couldn’t do it today. I tried but it hurts when I breathe and I’m practically bathing in “icy hot”. I need a few days 😒

Rib injuries suck.  I broke a few ribs on a rail back when I still did park stuff and it was awful.   Hope you heal up soon

100% and it’s 66 degrees in Allentown and 34 degrees in Nashville..gonna be a heck of a cold front coming through. You might end up with an inch or two on the pocono plateau.
