  1. Hey All, I’m back from another session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot before 720am and the temperature was around 30 degrees under partly sunny sky’s. In the house was everybody except Zonked, Nastar Glenn, Johnny Law and Matt Edge. I had low expectations with yesterday’s warmth and the overnight freeze but conditions were alright. Lazy mile and Paradise were decent initially as was Dreamweaver…nice groomed snow a little sugar and a few spots of boilerplate. Challenge was mini cookies but apparently it softened up pretty fast..Widowmaker to chute was pretty solid. I enjoyed Burma as it was smooth and no people on it. I also skied the woods next to Barney’s bumps and surprisingly good as long as you stayed in a three foot wide path. Temperatures rose into the 40s but it also became more overcast. I ended up skiing 11 runs then a fun parking lot, I even went into the next row which is progressive. Now time to rest up for tomorrows party. JADIP

  2. Way better than expected today. What's open has way better coverage than I anticipated. Props to blue...not only for the snow pack but for the litter clean up efforts. It's not fully cleaned but it's clear they made the effort. 65 to 70% is gone and it looks way better. But the good news doesn't end there. There are now no littering signs and trash cans at the entrance to each lift. All positive steps and keep up the good work there Blue! Back to the skiing...runs of the day for me were para weaver and the three runs through sleepy hollow to lower main. Sleepy hollow has a sliver in and a sliver out but if you go too low you had to ski through dirt or do you best Van Halen and Jump. Kept things interesting.Overall happy with conditions considering it's March 22nd.

  9. Hey all, I’m back from another morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived in the lower lot at 830am and it was in the mid 30s under sunny skys with strong winds out of the northwest. In the house were Atomic Jeff, NMSki, Johnny Law and Mixilplix. First civilian super summit safari six to lazy mile to start which was firm but pretty smooth and just starting to soften around the sharp corner. Paradise was similar conditions a little firmer with lanes of mini cookies and boilerplate. Coming soon was also solid but the wind made it a slow motion run. Widowmaker to the chute also firm although the chute started to corn up slightly after an hour or so. Crowds were lighter than the winds but still some people out. I peaced out at 10:36 and now back to work like a dork, gonna try to sell a tombstone at Noon.. JADIP

  12. The ding, over by what's left of the fairgrounds mall. The soft pretzels are the best anywhere, Montelaro has excellent ravioli, cheese and meats then finish it off with an Earl Grey Lavendar Cupcake and Pho.

  15. NM was closed. Looks like they are taking out some of the large features on nightmare. They took a lot of trash from the Main St lift. Main was starting to soften up around 11. Razors was still a block of ice with any loose stuff on the head wall being blown up off the hill. It was grate. Seeded bumps skiers left on Razors, took out the lower section of bumps on Main. Hopefully will blow some snow tonight.
