It's gonna be hard to sleep at this hotel with the planes flying over all night... every time I hear one I have to look out the window, check its info on flight tracker etc.

I'll only be there until 3/5. Maybe next time!

I just dont like having to leave stuff either in my hotel room or rental car... I think risk of theft is lower in the rental car. A former coworker supposedly had an iPod stolen from her room several years ago

Going to a hotel house tonight by the airport for stay-and-fly. I was gonna drive tomorrow morning but it's gonna snow and ice or whatever up here in the mountains and I dont want to deal with it. I'll just leave my car at the hotel house and they'll drive me to the airport

Correct. I always get frazzled dealing with the luggage scan. When I was a noobie I'd put my wallet and keys in a bin. Way too easy for someone to swipe, though I doubt anyone would because there are probably 1000 cameras. Now I put my junk in my suitcase first. Still annoys me having to take my laptop out. I dont bother with small liquid bottles anymore and no one says a word. Last time my white noise machine looked suspicious and they ripped apart my suitcase... I was not happy. Now I put it on top of everything

Not a bad idea, maybe a bit overkill but in the event of a lost wallet it would save me hassle. I was so paranoid about losing my passport in Europe that I wore it in a holder around my neck. Some Euro chick was making fun of me on the bus because I checked for my passport every 15 seconds to make sure it was still there

I've been thinking of this for my Utah trip and am bringing extra Johnny cash and checks in contingency envelope which will be stored separately from my wallet. I also photocopied my license but not sure how valid that is.
