A few years ago right after I learned to ski. I go there if I'm working in the Harrisburg area though they charged $46 or something for a night pass which is pricey. And now there will be no one there or theyll go out of business (according to Facebook comments)!

I've been hitting it once each time out for variety. Hoping to do Razors or Challenge tonight but not if they're sheets of ice.

Theyll get to see their grandma and ski, great deal! Last time I worked in Jenkintown I drove to Blue to do a night sesh. Never been to Whitetail but I've been to Roundtop a few times, it's pretty similar to Jackson Frost I believe but maybe smaller.

I think Roundtop has deleted most of the comments, there were 250+ earlier today but now only around 80. Though I could just be misremembering.

That was great, please write more reports! I love the real life experiences from working at a ski resort and dealing with lazy coworkers and the general public who don't know how lift pass stickers work. I was a lift attendant for 2 years, and the guy I worked with had some issues. The ticket window was at the top of the mountain, and a teenager skied down to us without a lift pass because none of the workers ever checked tickets. But that day, my co-worker decided to check tickets, and every time the skier got on the lift, he would shut it down. "No ticket, no ride". Then the skier actually tried walking up a black diamond to get back to the ticket window, and when he realized the futility of it he threw down his rental skis in a fit of rage. Utter stupidity making a skier walk back up a mountain. Eventually he called management and was allowed to ride back up. Edit: I actually found the picture of them reunited later that day!

Boy oh boy, the nerve of some of these Facebook trolls!

The Roundtop Ministry of Truth is trying their best to spin this as a positive on Facebook... like that the pass offers access to skiing in the mid-west! Lolololol. Road trip to ski Ohio anyone?

If enough people complain on Facebook they will surely offer a better pass... right????

Nah. I think I rode on a helicopter that was featured in Beverly Hills at the Bloomsburg Fair in 2004... or maybe that was Miami Vice. Sometimes I'll see Happy Days on Me TV and will sort of watch it. I think it's a show I would like a lot if I actually watched it.

I havent seen the Sit On It meme in a while. I found it the other day while reading through old trip reports in my spare time but cant remember where I saw it.

Thanks for the invitation but I'm done with ski trips for the season. Also Steeze prefers to skifari solo which I respect, I enjoy soloing also.

Thanks. Possibly. The older I get the less risks I'm inclined to take, so I'm probably a terminal intermediate which I'm ok with. Injuries require too much paperwork to deal with.

Dont think I'll ever go to JH. Skiing 3 or 4 groomers all day for several days would get repetitive. I like to explore the mountain and I know I would venture off and fall down Corbetts accidentally or something.

He wanted to go but unfortunately he used all his vacation time.
