  1. I forgot all about that. Now I dont have to guess what the charge percentage is anymore. Thanks!!!
  2. What's the official rule for role call threads? Is 48 hours before first chair on Saturday morning the standard?
  3. I bought ODT Chips at the beginning of last season and it was definitely worth it. No more wearing uncomfortable earbuds or annoying everyone with a speaker. And I think the battery lasts about 10 hours. Root, you can turn the volume up by clicking the left side repeatedly, I think. The only time I can't hear well is over snow guns, otherwise I can get the volume up to a good level. My only complaint with them is they dont always power on in very cold temperatures, but I find if I go inside and power them on, they'll stay on. Also, the charging mechanism is kind of annoying because if you forget or lose it, you cant charge them.
  4. Did you know there are 170 moons in our solar system?
  5. I'm glad Steeze found my post funny but not sure why....?
  6. On break #2. The wind is causing excruciating effort to get to Razor's which is tiring me out. Contemplated getting a hot cocoa but decided against it. Didnt see Root or JohnLaw, so they likely left. Snow is pretty good still on most trails, but there are cookies on some like Dreamweaver. Main Street was sick but I couldn't see the snow well due to my tinted goggles and lack of sunlight on Main. Overall today is an 8/10.
  7. Thanks!! I'm pretty warm and Toasty in the bottom lodge so I'll head out again. Will probably just ski Razor's today since it's so smooth. I'll look for Root and John Law.
  8. It's pretty good out still. Did Razor's and Lazy Mile. The top of Razor's is windy as hell and takes some effort to get going. The 6 pack is not running, but lines at the 4 pack are minimal.
  9. Just arrived at the Top Lodge at Blue Mountain the True Mountain (tm)(c)(r). Booted up in the lodge due to severe icing in the parking lot (though it is mostly Salted). Overheard several jabronis talking about frozen extremities, so I may take a break every 44 minutes or so. Looks pretty sick out there and not so crowded. Will post updates as the day develops. WNEP news is here again. JADIP dress like a Cosmonaut.
  10. Thanks. Try to leave early. I'll probably stay 2-3 hours. Wearing my face mask and fighter pilot goggles since it's bright. Last year one of the funnest days I had were in below zero temps.
  11. Uhh work and Florida? I havent skied in a while
  12. Thanks for the info. I will be heading there in a little while.
  13. This is great!! I'll get to ski all runs now like Razor's edge and the terrain park at the bottom of Main St so i dont have to skate to the 6 pack
  14. Ok I think i will go for a few hours since I got to sleep in today. I dont mind sub zero temps at all, maybe I'll go in every hour for hot cocoa or something. I greatly prefer extreme cold to lines and crowded runs.
  15. Spirit was fine, just like any other airline. I'm debating hitting up true Blue. Do you think the snow is good today?? Impossible to tell from the webcams.
  16. Nah. I need a day to do nothing after a trip. But, I was thinking of going this afternoon since the cold will keep most people away, but probably wont go due to possible extreme ice.
  17. I wonder how bad it is today? Probably pretty icy...?
  18. Sanibel Island. My retired former coworker and his wife have a condo there.
  19. I wont be skiing the powder. I'll be sitting on the beach drinking Root Beers.
  20. Agree 100%. Everytime I skied Burma it was dadgum awful.
  21. Conditions report says Challenge is open. Congrats!!
  22. I'll be in 75 degree Florida while you guys are shoveling out!
  23. Amazing pics. I love aerial photography and looking out the window. It's great getting a cloudless day, it seems it's cloudy every damn time I fly lately.
  24. Glad your plane didn't divert (and that you survived), that's pretty scary. I also track my flights in real time so I can tell what I'm looking at out the window.

I'd probably alternate seasons between Blue and Camelback if not for PASR. Camelback has good runs and an easy drive, but distinctively lacks parking lot socials with a karaoke machine and, of course, Sausage Sunday. Plus at Blue I never know if I'll get to ride the lift with a celebrity, like Nastar Glenn.
