  1. I browse listings on Zillow for kicks. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/220-E-12th-St-Silverton-CO-81433/249004128_zpid/?utm_campaign=iosappmessage&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=txtshare this one is in silverton CO. Looks like a saloon. And besides a badass mountain, there’s also a train out your door. choo choo.
  2. There’s so many!! Also I have no idea what the date is 🤷🏼‍♀️ So February 10 could be yesterday or like a weekend ago 🤦🏼‍♀️
  3. That sucks. happy to lend you a dehumidifier if you need one (or multiple) for drying out the room.
  4. It'll be fine in 10 days. No worries. Go for it!
  5. Saw this this morning too. Crazy. I had to research what Interlodge meant .. for anyone else, it's when "outside travel is restricted and everyone is ordered to stay indoors because of the avalanche danger." Highway 210 has a "Highway Avalanche Hazard Index of 766, the highest in North America." https://www.snowbird.com/interlodge/
  6. Ah! Just saw this. I’m catching up from a few days of not checking PASR. I’m home in Pennsylvania.. made it back on Sunday afternoon. I love the adventure life but I’ve really missed my home and the simple comforts. ❤️ I have a few posts to do for SLC about pizza and Mexican places I’ve tried. Been meaning to post them for a while now 🤦🏼‍♀️
  7. There's a lot of PASR to catch up on! I'm interested. Are you heading out this weekend (February 20/21)?
  8. I’m catching up on all of the PASR posts. These pictures and videos are absolutely amazing!! Cant wait to hear about it in the lot. The house was fun - If only we were able to get a photo of everyone wearing their matching hot tub robes on the stairs! @AtomicSkier @NMSKI@Johnny Law I wanted to replace the elk photo that was above the fireplace with a matching robe pic. So glad I got to meet the famous @Barb too! She’s even better in person. @GrilledSteezeSandwich- I don’t have a great trip report to post. I did some uphill touring on Tuesday-Thursday since I had work Before Telluride, I never really had a favorite ski resort. There were things I liked about certain resorts but I never got the full package until... Telluride. I left Telluride on Thursday and started to think about what it would take to live in a ski town like telluride. After 6.5 hours, I was in Denver again. I started my drive back east on Friday night and after 24 hours of driving I’m finally home in Pennsylvania. in some delusion on i-70, I decided to stop briefly in Casey, IL.... The home of the worlds largest wooden chair and largest wind chim, among other things 😂 I highly recommend you save your time. All vacations for 2021 are downhill from here especially in the Midwest. I hope to not drive anywhere for a very long time, except for an occasional trip to Bleu or to the wine store so I have something to drink while l catch up on your gnarly ski-fari adventures. Have fun!
  9. I'm going back to Pennsylvania this weekend. Hoping to start the drive from Denver on Friday. I'm leaving Telluride today, so it'll be a frat house since the girls are all leaving tonight. I have doctor appointments, a work meeting, and other adulting to do in PA 😕
  10. Here are some more pics. I kinda felt like their papparazzi photographer. first time booting up in an airport parking lot ✅ the famous @Johnny Lawstrut This could be in the aviation thread at this point .. Here’s some close up pics of the helicopter. There were 3 pilots. 1 was flying, 1 was his assistant & training the 3rd guy. Pretty sure there were big 😁 under their masks, at least from @NMSKI ✌🏼out
  11. I do have videos of them walking up. It needs to be edited with Fergicilous playing in the background
  12. @AtomicSkier@NMSKI& @Johnny Law- took off about 10 minutes ago.. from telluride airport to silverton
  13. Because at least 1 person will ask... Salad by @Barb’s friend steaks cooked on the inside grill by @AtomicSkier
  14. I had to mix in some work today. 😐 my life has been a vacation the past 52 days so I really don’t mind. (yes, that’s the correct number @GrilledSteezeSandwich. Thanks for keeping me accountable.) just as @Barbwas starting Taco Tuesdays, I headed out for ski tour. I missed the PASR dinner pic but the tacos were still delicious. Came out to what looked like the pool boy getting us ready for a Hot Tub Time Machine. from the house, you head down this ice lunge and the ski trail picks up at the fence. You ski about 0.25 miles down to the Chondola / Sunshine Lift. I put on the skins then went up the Lower Sundance trail. There was 1 group with dogs but didn’t see anyone else touring. I may try to go during the daylight tomorrow. Headed back to Econo Lodge to belly laugh until your abs hurt, hot tub, and steam room’ed it up.
  15. Toast with crunchy peanut butter & banana for post-skiing snack. Then, he had 2 dinners. Shannon ( @Barb's friend from Boulder) made sloppy joes + I baked chicken, carrots & made potatoes. After some drinks and chatting, we had a delicious curated trio cheese plate where the triple brie seemed to be the favorite.
  16. Adding to the Telluride stoke. It was great groomer day. Skied from 9:30-3pm, about 25k very. Started by skiing down to the Chondola. Here’s the Chondola x gondola crossing Sun was shinning. The corduroy was set. Heading up to start my whirlwind tour of Telluride with Jeff The sun peaked in and out but most of the time it was gorgeous weather The majestic bowl was quite wind swept (to the left of this pic below) Took the plunge lift and played in the area towards the end of the day. @RootDKJ-saw this and thought of you Ended the day by finding @AtomicSkier and @Barb in the gonorrhea ranch.
  17. I did a kickboxing class at Joltin Jabs on Main Street Manayunk. She was the small 10 person class. She was funny and someone I would want on my side in the event of a brawl 😂
  18. En route to Telluride! Just did an AM ski at ABasin. windy but good to break up the 6 hour drive
  19. 😳 oh man. Are you recommending a pizzeria uno? next time, I’ll give you my laundry list of favorites.
  20. If you have free time in Denver before your flight takes off, check out https://www.estersdenver.com/. There are two locations, one is closer to I-70 on the way to the airport. It's one of my favorite neighborhood places with delicious food. I can't decide which pizza is my favorite but definitely get the fat tire nachos. They're my favorite nachos ... ever.
  21. Interesting! Thanks for sharing. I love exploring new resorts and reading about the smaller, lesser known mountains.
  22. Frank runs the site with his wife, Brittany, who is a badass. We have a couple friends in common.
