Snow line looks like 700’ Im 860’ This morning was spicy, Center valley was good but 378 South of Bethlehem was a sheet of ice.

I making a checklist lol Got home to 2” of snow, backyard after dinner turns.

Friday…. If I don’t forget anything. Bizzaro ski dream last night. It took me half an hour to get from the parking lot through the base lodge. Wall to wall people., I made it through an realized I forgot my goggles and helmet.and it was nuking ,turned around to go back and then woke up lol.

Main is probably a good choice for keeping the snow from blowing into Jersey.

I was late last year and did the upper lot, winning the Chinese downhill last year was easy passing the Boarders with their hippity hop start. Hopefully I’ll make it on time this year. And looking like a No Cookies conditions.

👍 Let the ground cool down and develop somewhat of a frost line before moving to other areas. This morning reminded me of the one good week last year that they had for snowmaking. DW / NM area was a fog bank. This morning there was an inversion with little wind . Wondering what the final opening day trail total will be?

Maybe a little clipper on Thursday will add some natural?

A little dust for me but looks like it stayed East and north. Blue had a lift spinning earlier on the main st cam but no snow except for maybe a spotty 2” at summit cam .

Anyone have any low tide no base places to skin and ski in the Poconos? My regular places need a good 14-16 without a base.

And an inch of rain for us , seems awkward cheering for rain. There’s lots of oils from cars imbedded in macadam that could float up with the rain so driving might be interesting at first. I regenerated my neutralizer on my water system at home a week ago and my well level went down quite a bit but recovered. None of my neighbors have had wells run dry so far. Hoping for a dusting at my place so I can ski some fast grass.

I was thinking along the terms of the flames touching the haul rope and changing the temper. I think an insurance company might condemn it for safety reasons, even though there might be very little visual damage. Good news to hear that the fire won’t make it there.

My worst case scenario was Blue ended up emptying the ponds fighting off the fire and having some lift damage. I haven’t checked the fire status lately. Some rain in the forecast Sunday 🤞

You could help even more. Fly over and drop some water balloons. 🙃
