In Moab with some ladies. The climb today is a bit too sketchy for me so I am skipping it. But have an awesome view in the sun. 3 pitches up being belayed from above then a free hang rappel. I know physically I can do it but once you begin you are committed to finishing. Tomorrow will be normal climbing and I am psyched for that! We are glamping in safari platform tents with real beds. But last night was freaking cold at about 26-28 degrees. About 50 degrees now in the sun feels awesome. Sunrise When we arrived at Looking Glass arch this morning there were a group of naked people in climbing gear doing a photo shoot. We almost ran out of gas on the motorcycle in southern Wyoming. Stopped in Chugwater only to realize it wasn't really a town and the gas station had been burned down some years earlier. We barely made it to the next gas station on total fumes.

Good for you Doug, looks like you hit the sweet spot. Crested Butte got 12” overnight and closing today. Eldora was originally closing today but looks like they are extending another week. Very windy here in Boulder as well.

My dad used to let my brother and I ride in the back of his pick up with the cab on it. In winter when nobody was in OC he would drive all over the road with us in back and we would be rolling around back there laughing our asses off.

Yes Doug. I kicked out my renters before we arrived and it will sit empty until he gets here. And yes, hiked up Diamond Head with 100 other Asians wanting to be at the top for sunrise.

No idea, but yeah, ghetto like. That's why we decided not to move there full time when we wanted out of NJ. I will let you know, headed to Honolulu in 8 days.

When I sold my house in the Poconos it took a while and I lost money on it. Homes in that development are dirt cheap now. I truly enjoyed all the time I spent there though. By that time I was really "over" the beach, having grew up there. It was a nice change of pace.

$138 Telluride $111 CB. Not saving a ton of money but I hate having to go to the ticket window and if the pass is already paid for I feel like I can ski as little or as much as I want to. I can also use the days at Abasin with my son.

I already have an Ikon Pass. I am not gonna use the Epic too much so not worth it for me to buy a full pass.

I picked up Epic 4 day pass for $449. Gets 4 unrestricted days total at any epic mountain. Next year when I go to Ouray Ice Festival I will do another Telluride day and I am sure I can do 3 CB days so it will be worth it.

Epic I saw all the Vail resorts, Breck, Keystone, Abasin, Whistler, limited days in Utah, Vermont. Plus Telluride joined for next year too. Quite a competition the ski resorts have going for next year. I need to have Eldora on my Pass since that’s where I go the most.

Crested Butte just joined the Epic Pass with 7 unrestricted days. F*CK!!!! $669 so I would have to use all 7 days to make it worth buying.

I agree with Schif, definitely see less snowboarders. My oldest is 19 and been on a snowboard since he was 7. He absolutely loves it and would never consider switching to skiing. But most of his friends he used to ride with have either switched or lost interest altogether.

I will send you and ski2live buddy tickets by next weekend. Gonna try and hit WP one last day next week with my son and he needs a buddy ticket. It’s just a pain to keep track of which ones they use when we go in person. He has 29 days in this season and trying to hit 30.
