  1. He's a boring fucking troll ignore him. If he was actually funny that would be a different story...
  2. 5 maybe 6 inches of cream cheese headed your way....
  3. I'll be up at MRG this weekend, blue jacket brown pants black helmet. Say hi if you decide to come up.
  4. Its all about $$$$ and Sno doesn't have any.
  5. those spruce pictures make me want to throw up....fucking condos. Looks like you had a good trip.
  6. 49.5mph is pretty damn hot for any chair, lots of safeties going off and stopping the lift anyways. 30 is generally where things start to get shitty, any higher and your worried the haul line is going to throw a sheave and then the whole thing is fucked. Its sucks they closed but you can't fault CB for this one.
  7. How's your repair work ? Not to be a dick but I ask because years ago your Reading shop couldn't jig mount a pair of ski's properly. If you can't drill holes and line up a jig I'm not sure why I would trust you with ptex work, though this was some time ago. The dude at Pinnacle in Reading knew his shit and did excellent work but now he's gone and I need someone I trust who knows their shit.

  9. They cannot get power from the grid and last I heard they let this particular generator burn to the ground. What sucks is at the Wood this powers everything including cell towers. Lots of nice temporary generators being fired up. Word is though that a dedicated power line is on the way - http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/eldorado/projects/kirkwood/ - lulz 6 will run ungodly slow and 10 will be intermittent at best, good luck on seeing the backside this year.
  10. Nice dude If you run into Glenn he'll show you the goods.
  11. The real problem is its a waffle hut not a waffle haus. In my experience the waffle haus's are infinitely better, the waffle is fresher and they know how to work with pearl sugar. The hut at bear pre-makes your waffle and then just heats it up, total bs and really destroys the waffle experience. Seriously though how cheap does everyone want a fucking waffle to go for I mean its four fucking dollars. The lowest they could go is maybe three so whats the big deal. If a dollar is going to break your bank account than maybe you should stop eating waffles and get a job.
  12. Shit first day ever, dude's probably trying to find a job out there right about now.
  13. Sounds pretty sweet, let us know how those new glades are.
  14. Nice! How where the trees looking ? Coverage should have been at least decent..I think.

One95's for snow sports..serious lulz I would have went with the the Tackla 9000Z Air's more of a euro pant so tighter and a little harder to break in but ultimately more comfortable.
  16. Thanks for the heads up on Sugarbowl... serious lulz on the Wood, nice hill but the damn generator is on fire every other day.
  17. That Garmin sounds cool as shit....now I want one.
  18. Things will get better and you'll forget all about dirty Newark. Good luck and interested in seeing your pics.
  19. They are a great ski for sure but there isn't anything there that hasn't been made a 1,000 times before. Rev/rev though is pretty damn new and for powder skiing is a great leap forward. x2 Cobabe canyon may be on the map but there is little reason to ever go over there and getting in and out is terrible. That's got to be 1/4 of the acreage at least.
  20. Thanks for the info on the solly stuff, I'll have to head out that way more often. For some reason I just overlooked it. Powder Mtn is great if you know what your getting into. One, they don't blow ever which sounds funny for UT but heavy traffic areas/Paradise lift area can get pretty boney. Two, fancy lodges and lunches are no where to be found. Its all about the skiing, hot dogs and hamburgers are pretty much all they offer and the road up there can really be a day wrecker. If it nukes while your there its going to be a bitch no doubt. Three, the mtn itself is large but primary flat. Personally I like a fun day of advanced meadow skipping but spend more than two days there and your going to be bored. Powder Country and Lightning Ridge are really the only areas with sustained vert. Lastly there isn't shit in terms of night life in Eden, Ut. There's stuff in Ogden and all that but even by UT standards eating/drinking is pretty limited. The positives are that they see far less traffic than the big boys LCC/BCC and they don't attract the same kind of clientele. If it snows and you aren't a complete jong you'll get to ride some good lines with lots of deep and you won't be in a mad dash to do it. If you end up hitting PowMow let me know and I'll pm you some info on were the lines are. Check out Sundance too if you have time, steep upper mtn, low crowds and nice lodges/food if your in to that kind of thing. But be advised as to what you are getting PowMow/Sundance aren't BCC/LCC resorts.
  21. Towards Lake Mary or the reservoir and solly ? The stuff that sits skiers right off milly, sort of inbetween the resort is cliffy and fun though short. To be honest I'm not totally on top of the stuff off the back of milly, I've skied out there a few times but only know it as back bowls. Its definitely good skiing though twin lakes kind of freaks me out. I have a weird thing with large bodies of water and winter. Most of the pictures above are from Hidden canyon which is off Clayton. General disclaimer: hidden canyon is not part of the Brighton resort and parts of it are avy prone and would roll pretty big.
  22. ARG's You'll love the obsetheds in the deep, float is unreal, you can almost rip it locked legged. So quick too, you can change direction on a dime without even thinking and really slash turns. Honest to god its the way you always dreamed of skiing powder, just incredible amounts of fun. I did feel like I had a hard time controlling them on groomers but I figured that would be the case, they certainly aren't every day skis.
