  1. Why do they wait to open sidewinder? It's one of Blue's best trails.
  2. That may be the best 3 minutes and 50 seconds of my life. haha. Nicely done. Phillycore I love how you timed the end of the song with Dan's massive air elevator landing.
  3. Fun day. Best of the season so far for me. Good to ski with the crew. The force was with Vader, Happyland made me very happy and the Vader glade was prime. Lots of chalky man made powder everywhere. Risk it is near completion. Floyds was getting blitzed with man made goodness. Phillycore issued a challenge to see if at least 10 turns could be made on the elevator. I managed 12 although some would say that my methods were shady.
  4. In the poconos I'd say Risk it, Elevator or White Lightning giving Risk it the slight edge depending on which route you take (cliff or the bail out route).
  5. blowing on river shot means blowing on the elevator. Like.
  6. That's usually a good time to ski WF. Theres even a chance that you may find the slides open. The snow is typically better that time of year up there. You should find the entire Mt. open. Glades should be nice too. (make it a point to ski Sugar Valley and Cloudsplitter). Where are you staying? The Lake Placid shuttle will pick you up and take you to the Mt. from just about anywhere in town.
  7. You know I love Jf, but I'm not really sure how snow gods come into play with rain and fog. Just sayin.
  8. Between Phillycore passing his stones and this snow in the forecast, my day is made.
  9. Just got back. Dan it actually got better as the day went on. I had little ridge racer with me who did amazing for her first day of the season,. The snow got sugary with increased traffic as the day wore on. Anyway just a few observations since this was my first day on East Mt this season. Challenge glade seems to officially be known as Happy Land now with the new trail sign. I also noticed a new sign marking the run through the trees that takes you from Happy Land to River Shot called "Marks Way". Theres also a new sign under the East Mt lift about half way down in the trees called "Docs Way". The Little Cliff Huck is no more. The boulder that stood there a at one time is now in pieces. It looks like they took a stick of dynomite to it. Once snow covered will be skiable however. The new and improved Risk It looks sweet. There's a new trail sign that reads "dare to Risk it?" that stands in front of a narrow pathway which eventually leads to to the cliff / tree run. Once winter finally gets here east mt will be lots of fun.
  10. Nice pics. The Line Prophet (#1) interests me.
  11. You're a trooper buddy. Hope you get better soon.
  12. Philpug has been destroying Blue for at least 10 years now online. A bit too much IMO.
  13. If you're going for the skiing wait till Saturday or go later in the day. If you're going to tailgate then have at it.
  14. Glad to hear that the guns were on by closing. R2 you must have been in Heaven today with the fast snow. Thunderbolt and Challenge were nice today.
  15. Snow was soft today. - See you tomorrow.
  16. Should be extra busy with the eagles out of the playoffs.
  17. Android is starting to step it up on the gaming front. This is a pretty bad ass skiing sim. http://approb.com/android-games/2369.html
  18. Its freaking cold out there now. They must have had a good night of snowmakinglast night.
