  1. damnit doug, i saw this thread and didnt look at the date, thought r2 was back
  2. blue marsh's larger tubing hill had a turn. it sounds fun but hitting a wall of ice at high speeds at 10 years old isnt as fun as it sounds. 2 people were taken away on ambulance due to tubing injuries when i was there, one guy got a concussion and one girl broke her arm
  3. We were on midway that run as well
  4. tough month for us, i was hoping this week would be packed since people have off from work, but it hasnt been much busier than a normal week
  5. best thing ive read on here in awhile lol
  6. me and mark were talking about this yesterday. we were going up the lift like "I can't believe people are paying $70 for this bullshit." 5 runs with garbage conditions and they are charging full price lol
  7. why did you guys park in a different row?
  8. rode from 4-6:30 yesterday. worst conditions of the season by far
  9. i would love to go back to BC for old times sakes, but cannot justify the money
  10. "And you can tell them to go fuck themselves!" -President Donald J. Trump
  11. Rode from 8-930. Initially planned on staying longer but I was so wet that I called it a day. Way way more wet than last Sunday. Rode every run on challenge and paradise except for 1 lazy mile run. Fog made first half of challenge pretty difficult
  12. im curious how long people were stuck on the 6 pack for. they had been stuck for 40 minutes when we left
  13. Rode first chair with mark this morning. Met up with toast second run. Happy to see they were blowing snow even when we left at 11:15. Falls didn't open til 845 and had a lot of cookies. Ride chute 3 times and it was icy as hell. Ride Burma a bunch as well. 6 pack went down a little after 1030, was still down when we left at 11:15 with people still stuck in it. Main Street was run of the day, lazy was great as well
  14. mark told me we were doing an evening session, then hit me up 10 mins later and said we have to be in the valley lot by 8:00am. as of now, that is the plan
  15. valley lodge opens tomorrow
  16. i never understood how the brooklyn and williamsburg bridges have a super beefed up police patrol, but the manhattan bridge is a free for all. brooklyn and williamsburg bridges have cops on bikes, cops on golf carts, the helicopter patrols. yet the manhattan bridge is probably the safest publicly accessible place to paint in all of NYC.
  17. Me and toast were the only 2 people when the ribbon dropped. The soft corduroy was very enjoyable, especially on lazy. However, by 8:30 the blue mountain race teams decided to take over all of Main Street and lazy. Doing drills from edge to edge while we had to navigate through them. By 9:15 the rain started to pick up. I called it a day soaked at 10:30
  18. Rode my new boots for the first time tonight
  19. Just got back from a night session. It was nice
  20. im guessing they will close, when i checked a few hours ago the palmerton forecast had moderate rain from 2AM to noon on sunday EDIT: according to their facebook comment 43 mins ago, they will be open tomorrow. i am still skeptical
  21. doug you have faith in them being open tomorrow
  22. drive to work was worse than expected
  23. spring mountain opens tomorrow
  24. i spy with my little eye a picture of 4 PASR's holding up the opening day sign on Blue's facebook page
  25. so you are saying waiting to ride in the afternoon on sunday may be risking it, so go saturday night after work and if they are open sunday, go sunday as well?
