Well I've ski'd GP one more time this year than I did last season... The bio clock was on weekday time so I woke Mrs SnoBunski up at 5:30 and headed to Greek to start the season. Picked up our passes after the foggy ride up, got on the snow just before 10. By that time the trail count was down to 11 = 2 ways down. God bless the beginners on the skid mark that was karyitis. Elysian had good coverage up top, not so much the lower you got. The top was bumping up nicely, bottom becoming more tech until we bugged out around noon with cortland industrial IPA to wash down some wings and an escarole pie at trax . I think most folks here know but I got a new hip about a year and a half ago. prior to the hip replacement i had a lot of back and knee pain resulting from misalignment from the OA in my hip. I got a lot of relief from the inversion table - provided the spinal and pelvic traction / decompression your taliking about. Theyre pretty cheap and only takes a few minutes a day. I would check with your chiro or ortho but it saved my ass until i got the surgery at the end of the season. ...oh yea and beerbuprofen and maple whiskey Ive been doing fish oil capsules and glucosomene chondroitin for probably 15 years. when i said to the ortho that those were a bust he replied "who knows, might have bought you another 5 years..." Ive been pain free until about a month or so ago when i seperated my shoulder on the mtb. been doing alot of gravel grinding and some light mtb since and just getting back to speed. beat myself up pretty good this weekend on the sals and bungalow rocks

we freeze bagloads of basil and dry some too. frozen gives a fresh basil flavor for cooking. first bounty of the season was picked last night for fajitas - hungarian wax peppers. not too hot but very tasty, froze a few of those too will have beans and cucs by the weekend, tomatoes jut starting to ripen

nice, my beets suck this year - got em in late and missed all the rain to get em to pop. i like the tops better than the bottoms

did you go back? i was there until 1:30, I only had loukemades - fried dough balls drenched in honey with cinnamon. the lines for everything else were too long and i was afraid i'd start a riot if i tried to back door it

i'll throw a coat of summer wax on the race skis at a minimum but the rest all depends on if and how deep the flyers go into the playoffs. love to wax skis, drink beer and watch hockey
