  1. Low temps look pretty good, but unfortunately humidity levels look to be too high...
  2. The wetness throws off the wet-bulb temperature reading.
  3. Especially when you're going for the SHRRR radar to improve the sensitivity of the falling precipitation on that side of the mountain, not to mention the all-important increased sensitivity of the air temperature and humidity sensors! Should abandon the wave height sensor altogether as it's pretty useless on Beltzville lake.
  4. About time they deploy the new, upgraded one.
  5. Saturday morning, between 10-12.
  6. Checking out the cams in the dark, interesting to see where the blinky lights are...
  7. Nah, not that hardcore. Rather get them a little broken in before taking them out on the mountain. It also helps start building up callous on the feet, so they're also not as sore the first days out. Ah, from your post, I thought you bought them up at Blue and rode the mountain before/after you bought them. They don't say much about the boot's liners, but it sounds like they're heat moldable, so just wearing them around and the heat from your foot might help to mold them as well.
  8. I usually wear them around the house prior to going out the first time. I'll buckle them down as tight as I can stand it, flex them a lot, walk around in them, sit at the computer, watch TV, etc. for a while. Do this daily or so to help the process progress faster. WJW the Speedmachines. You looking to keep up with @GrilledSteezeSandwich? Looks like they have some new fandangled fitment gizmo for molding the liner. Did Blue mention that and/or have the kit to do it? (Nothing like spelling/grammar checking your site before publishing it... "you just need to heat the area trough the infrared lamp", "apply the suction cup to neutralize the pressure in few minutes.") https://www.nordica.com/usa/en/men/boots/medium-100mm/speedmachine/speedmachine-3-120-gw
  9. Bring along your old ones too, JIC @saltyant
  10. Do they come with skins or are those a separate purchase?
  11. Seems to be a more recent thing (power companies shutting snowmaking down). Don't know if it's the grid, amount of people/development in the area, lack of electricity production, number of Teslas??
  12. Yup, I believe shortly after they shut em down again. Indeed, it was a total downer, expecting huge amounts of snow only to see nada. Damn people turning up their thermostats to stay warm! Don't they know there are sliders starving in the East for man-made perder???
  13. They know what brings in the cashola...
  14. And then another super cold shot came in, but the power company shut them down.
  15. I was expecting to see some snow on Vista this morning with how cold it was.
  16. Evidently Pat (bumper who wears red pants w/ white knee patches and stretches up at Blue) was out there.
  17. I didn’t know! I was the Great Pumpkin!
  18. They used to have pretty good wings, but I haven't been there in a long while. I thought there was a change of ownership at some point not too long ago?
  19. Except the neighbor is enticing the wildlife to bring it to you..
  20. The deer shit the most. Everything from piles of pellets to huge piles, both of which seem to turn into big clumps of weeds.
