Saw the line die down and did 4 more runs. Both Granite and South Peak lifts were closed. MC says the 24-30" they got wasn't enough snow to re-open those lifts. Wtf. Gapers overwhelmed by the 'pow day' Sold the second voucher in the lift line for $20. I have never skied there. Not really worth the drive for me. Blue started getting crowded about 130. Blue is a well organized efficiently run operation compared against MC. Hell at one point I was even missing Blue's Gapers as MC's Gapers are far worse. When Hidden Valley was public and I lived 40 minutes away, I sometimes went there in preference to the much larger MCreek less than a mile away, on account of HV not sucking as much. He finds it makes eastern hills more interesting since he is not as good on it as he is on skis.
