  8. That video is great, saw it on TGR I think. Guy was such an ass.
  9. Tp4 your tastes change as you age. 15 years ago I used to go to NYC once a month on the weekends. Loved the vibe, restaurants, shows etc. Then we bought a place in the Poconos and I started to favor the quiet and mountains on weekends. Now I live pretty close to downtown. Boulder isn't exactly a hot spot for culture, but I love everything it offers at this stage of my life. Great restaurants, outdoor recreation, eclectic mix of people with wildly different views. Oh yeah, and when I was a kid growing up in Ocean City I thought the beach was the absolute best thing in the world and I could never live without it. Never say never.
  10. Like the pics Doug, TR's always better with pictures. Pretty sure I've come across that last gaper shot on the internet before.
  11. Couple shots from today before it turned into a zoo.
  12. Today while riding a quad, the guy next to me wasnt tying to put the bar up. He was getting frustrated and said "why won't it go up?" I told him he had to take his skis off the footrest.
  13. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise. Glad Dom, Dan and John not here this wk. we need some fresh snow.! But still a fun day.
  14. 7 is a good age. That is when my son started to board
  15. Should bunny schuss even be a named trail?
  16. Took out the XC skis today. Beautiful day to be outside. Even if it was 5 degrees and windy.
  17. That looks terrifying
  18. Neither. Gonna be a shit show the next few days. Prob cross country ski over the weekend.
  19. We got some snow overnight
  20. First time on skis
  21. Were he words I heard being yelled all morning at Eldora. All the mountains got hammered overnight. Since our place in Winter Park is rented out, had to settle for a morning at Eldora. 11" of new snow, I'd say about 8" was overnight. First day I have skied in powder. Considered just binging my board instead of the skis but I have to learn some time. Wow, if my form was bad before, it was awful in powder. I could barely keep my skis together. Seemed to always have a rogue leg going in its own direction. Started to get the hang of things after a few runs but couldn't stay long, had to cut out at 11. A few pics
  22. I used to watch Cecily Tynan when I lived back east. I couldn't stand to watch her talk out of the side of her mouth.
  23. ^ I do too. It's early in the season, maybe she will show up soon.
  24. Beautiful empty morning at Eldora. 37 degrees and sunshine, felt like summer
  25. Snow in town al melted yes. I came home a month ago to visit some colleges with my oldest. That was enough for me.
