  1. I'm going to have disable Tapatalk since @mute1080 and @Justo8484 struggle to [mention] people.
  2. @CaptDave Riverton Bowl ... key today was to stick to north facing stuff. Wind was 50mph yesterday and deposited anything fresh onto north facing slopes. Softest stuff will be things like Hoops Gap, Expert Chutes, Bivouac, Ten Sleep, etc. Even heard Paint Brush was skiing nice today...but we were in the pow mood so shallower angle was key 😃
  3. Wilson. We had been alternating between Wilson and the Juicy but today was 2x Wilson.
  4. Because if you're not woke AF you're going to get cancelled.
  5. We thought yesterday was going to be a decent day, but ended up sucking with the wind and visibility. Didn’t have high hopes for today but it was awesome. Northern aspects had a lot more wind deposited snow than the 3” reported. I even managed face shots below the experts chutes. 5 days of sun, one day of storm skiing, and a surprise “pow” day was a great way to end it. Now at the mangy getting numb.
  6. i also had the wagyu steak sandwich ... it was excellent, but the shitty photo makes it looks subpar.
  7. wow just wow ... if you're going to mention @toast21602 at least tag him so he can get a few likes out of it.
  8. Today was a wild one. Wind was pretty rowdy at the base, and we heard 50+ mph at the top of the tram. We got to the top of the gondy and it was insane. Shit blowing everywhere. Our first run down Amphi was pretty nice. Vis was meh at best, but snow was soft. Lifty told us Tram and Sub were already on wind hold. Top of thunder it was blowing sideways at probably 35+ mph. We managed to get 3 runs off north facing stuff on Thunder before they shut it down a few chairs behind us. North facing aspects were holding a creamy 2", but everything else was wind scoured. With Tram, Sub, and Thunder down, over to Casper we went, which had a 5 minute line when we showed up, but due to winds, they were running it at 1/2 speed so the line grew quickly. Few runs over there before heading over to Teton, which had no lines. Even the Sweetwater gondy was down for winds. A random shot of GSS without his hands up for once.
  9. Could be ideal timing for some fresh. It started around the time the report is posted so website says 0” new but could be a few inches when they open. Not a pow day but some fresh will be nice.
  10. Just keep in mind that on United at least, the ski bag and boot bag are considered to be one item and must be under 50lb limit combined. I’m allowed 70lb bags and I couldn’t be happier as two pairs of skis plus the weight of my ski bag is like 49.5lbs and I’ve had a few rogue scales say it’s 50.5lb which has resulted in me removing one of my towels that I use to wrap the tips, or just a “repositioning” on the scale at the request of the agent “look it’s under 50 now”.
  11. Slightly out of focus, but they had a @GrilledSteezeSandwich cocktail at the Silver Dollar
  12. I just went for an apres ski run in paradise 😍
  13. Forgot to mention ... it was -20F on the way to the mountain today. The second coldest drive I've ever had here.
  14. my future is so bright ... or i didn't want my picture taken.
  15. Just sunny and blue skies. More hobacks and slightly more crowded today.
  16. @NMSKI and I had a double hobacks day, including a top to bottom Rendezvous Bowl -> Hobacks run. Beautiful weather out there today. Sky couldn't be any bluer.
  17. Great snow and great day riding the lifts with @RidgeRacer discussing what his wife should be doing on Saturday mornings.
  18. He's the guy in the silver Civic who occasionally parks in our row with a confused look on his face
  19. @mbike-ski @toast21602 @Dirtwolf @Johnny Law Let's plan on the 16th?
