Rain is fantastic....good bye pollen and pressure washed the shit out of my deck yesterday. Sanding the rest off before staining. Taking @JFskiDans advice and buying new spindles. Progress!

Dude I smell it every freaking time I drive past. Its amazing. I should've tore up on one before I started this dang diet.
-
Game changer indeed. There's a Rita's near there too. Hot soft pretzels and a cold Ritas is what's up.
-
We go to both but I personally will do everything I can To avoid the zoo that is shop rite. Weis is just more laid back and a less stressful experience...plus I like to play the claw machine on the way out.
-
I went into Weis in Broadheadsville this afternoon. Forgot my mask so went in feeling like I'd be wearing the scarlet letter. Turns out most of the employees were maskless and a bunch of customers too. Felt like the old days.

Oh it's necessary... but exhausting none the less.

I feel that. I'm getting pretty annoyed with flying myself. Not that I'm afraid...its just the whole driving to the airport, paying to park, shuttle or long walk to terminal, waiting in tsa line, taking off your shoes and taking out your tablet, getting your junk scanned, waiting at the gate for an hour plus...longer if your flights delayed, sitting next to a jackass, waiting to get off the plane, rinse and repeat if you have a layover, waiting for your bags, renting a car or waiting for a shuttle. Shits exhausting.

I'm certain paid parking is coming. Do they charge pass holders at Camelshit?

We went up to Wilkes Barre and enjoyed sushi at Wegmans, went to Lowes and some of the other shops up there. Felt normal today. Everything was packed. Most people masked.

Correct. People hear that I have a kid in college and they think I'm AARP. Then they see my youthful and rugged good looks along with my ability to tear up the slopes and they can't believe it. In all honesty I loved being a dad in my 20s. And now my kids friends think I'm the coolest Dad ever since I'm light-years cooler (and younger) than theirs...no offense to them, but it's true.

No. Justice of the peace at a wedding hall type of place.
-
We got married at the beach (Chincoteague island...by a boat captain) just us mainly because we didn't want people to do anything. Told most people we got married after the fact.

It's done wonders for my live TRs.
-
Correct. I'll leave Blue when I leave PA. That's about it.

Despite the camelback affiliation...I don't hate this. Same ownership (at least for now) meaning Barb continues to call the shots with an influx of $ for legit capital improvements. Prediction...for the short term...the Vista lodge gets started and coming soon gets snowmaking and lightning. Long term we'll see the Waterpark up top, serious terrain expansion to the east, perhaps a base lodge revamp (goodbye tent city). Honestly, given the rumors about Vail or whatever over the years, this could be a best case scenario for us. Only thing I don't like is the fact that ksl owns camelback.

The splash back still has to be terrible. I hate using public bathrooms in the summer while wearing shorts solely because of splash back. If I get a drop on my leg I'm soaping up and washing off my legs. Then if I'm at a store or something I walk with wet legs and people think I'm crazy. It's a serious problem.

Eyeliner complements ones eyes. Posters complement your man cave. Rims complement your car. Tight jeans compliment my ass. Blue mountain doesn't complement camelback. Blue mountain makes camelback feel like I'm skiing on a septic mound.
-
Wtf does this mean? Camelback has no business being in the same sentence with blue. “KSL Resorts is excited to manage Blue Mountain Resort as it’s located in one of the Poconos’ most spectacular settings and is the ideal complement to Camelback’s numerous indoor and outdoor adventures – especially with its close proximity,"

Pulled the space heaters out of the garage. On a bright note (pun intended) looking like sunshine all week. I get to test out my the solar battery pack I just picked up!

I'm sure it would be tough for her to just walk away given that it's basically the family business. Her dad I'm sure put a lot of blood sweat and tears into the place
