Nice report, don’t you follow the weather?

Hey All, I’m back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 818am and it was around 30 degrees out under mostly sunny skys. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, BenM, Indiggio, Slim, PARidge, Mute, Boo Bear, Becky Boo, Johnny Law, Harold, Oz, Rodney, Dirtwolf and many others. My expectations were extremely low with 2” of rain yesterday and overnight lows well below freezing. I was pleasantly surprised with Razors being super smooth and pleasant almost packed powder. I skied that ten runs in a row and conditions stayed the same and all but 2-3 runs there were only a few people on the trail. I didn’t ski nightmare dreamweaver as I really don’t enjoy that run when there are features. No real liftlines today with only the quad running. I ended the session with a run down burma which has nice coverage still and even took a schuss down Yeti. Fun parking lot with some beers and sunshine. While today seemed like closing day just like last Saturday, Blue has not made any closing day announcement and many think they’ll reopen for Friday and Saturday. JADIP

I slept way to much. I feel like I’m running late and don’t even have to start getting dressed for another half hour.

1.6” here and a surprising amount of flooding…I was out and about running errands and a big pet peeve of mine if people not using their headlights in heavy rain and poor visibility…

I’m happy I went yesterday. I have very low expectations for tomorrow AM. It’s just gonna get down cold enough to set the snow up to boilerplate.

I can’t believe they’re open today.

Up to .74” of rain so far in Allentown since about 2am. Definitely good for the snowmaking ponds!!!

Don’t be surprised if they blow again early tomorrow AM, it might just be cold enough.

Blue is usually open until 9pm and their online store usually works. They used to be open until 10pm for night skiing but scaled back to 9pm because the majority were quitting like 7-830 plus cost savings.

I almost moved to Durango when I was like 23…I visited it with my dad and didn’t like it..I did play golf out there and went to a steakhouse and stayed at a days inn cause my dad is cheap

On the razors runout at like 12:08pm somebody got owned by the sticky snow and he was ejected off trail. When I was riding the lift..up he was still getting his bearings. I can’t imagine somebody flying into that dirt. When it’s dark out they’re gonna go ass over teakettle.

Blues Facebook page is better than its ever been….I also think they might try for next weekend as well if turnout is good Sunday but then I think of the Milli Vanilli song
