Hey All, I’m back from a fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and the temperature was in the low 40s under overcast sky’s with fog on the upper mountain extending to the peak. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, Ryan, Mute, Toast, Schifdawg GSSucks, Ty, Shadows, T Maki, West Chester homeys, Indiggio, Tarponhead, JLaw and many others. First civilian six pack and the six pack ran flawlessly I don’t think it stopped once..Main Street was a carpet first thing but poor visibility on the top half..lazy to the falls also good. Concussion Ted was making sure that nobody was going on paradise while the patrol got it ready with bamboo lollipops yeah it definitely wasn’t sucker free. I skied the Barney’s Bumps once and they were pretty nice..small but carvable..the snow was hero snow and not that crazy choppy at least from 8-10...paradise was a little more firm and spicy..Lazy mike became crazy mike was some serious needle threading. Was a nice session totally ski on ended up skiing I believe 13 runs and then retired to the parking lot for a couple beers. No BMDI tomorrow and I fear no skiing tomorrow AM with the weather forecast. A fre pics. Shout out to Barb with the 80s music and some early fog and mist which cleared then set in and cleared again. Salty skiing is a lot more fun than sleeping. Just an FYI overnight camping in blues lower lot across Blue mountain drive from where we park is for permit only.

People will let you in front of them in the gondola line if you tell them you have to catch a flight soon.

Take whatever taxi is sitting at the curb. I believe $35 from airport to town for 1-2 people more for 3+ people.

45 minutes to an hour.

I have as well, the time 70 was closed between Georgetown and Silverthorne..40 minute drive took 3.5 hours going the homeboy way.

These night sessions without the school kids is a giant bonus..next week should be the same...Tuesday and Thursday next week...maybe do Wednesday skiing then karaoke 🎤 to make up for potential no skiing Sunday.

It’s always worth it once you’re there even if it’s raining or you’re a little tired when the alarm clock goes off the next morning and it’s still dark outside.

Nice I definitely have to hit up winter park for a day next trip to Colorado. Last trip I wanted to but four pow days in a row kept me local because of the driving.

It looks like northern areas are going to receive less rain..looking like it clears out around 6am at mount pocono and noon in Philly so at Blue could be like that Blinde melon song at Boot Up Thirty..no rain...and nice temperatures. Tomorrow’s the day. Hard to tell what Sunday will bring..if it’s a monsoon I’ll be at Whole Foods checking out milfs and eating a breakfast quesadilla and nitro ice coffee with almond milk..
